Yen is just willing to do ANYTHING to save Ciri. She might be bossy but Triss on the other have slept with Geralt behind Yen's back. Triss was best friends with Yen so she really backstabbed her. Plus she tried to get with Geralt again few times after, but Geralt felt like sleeping with Triss was a mistake, moment of weakness and he truly loves Yen.

Triss ain't nothing but a hoe. She doesn't truly love Geralt yet she is obsessed about him and manipulates him every chance she gets for her own gain. Yen on the other hand might appear more "Alpha" but she is like a true wife to Geralt and gets shit done regardless.

@@user-bj5nw6rw9i She didn't help at all. Geralt regained his memories when he removed the curse from the battlefield. Triss wanted to take over his mind with a rose of remembrance just like Philippa did with Saskia. She lied because she was scared that his memories were starting to come back.

Hi, Yen's quest is not time based so you can do all of the side quests without any problems, although this quest comes with important consequence, just as you already guessed it :)

I recommend staying in Skellige and helping out Hjalmar and Cerys, they have side quests. The one you help out the most and vouch for will become Skellige's new King and will play a role in the game's ending. Don't forget about the Ice Giant as well!

I recommend for more loot to not sell seashells and to instead DISMANTLE them to get either a Black or White pearl and sell those They give you MUCH more money than you would get selling them as shells

Ermion reminded me of Yoda, he also sits in a cave, doesn’t want to do anything, eats grass, and helps only when he is strongly persuaded. It’s good that he didn’t force Geralt to stand on his head. Just like it was with Luke.

i must repeat that :witchers school armors and swords are SO far better that anyone others in game so if you feel that your silver sword is weak you really schould take somm witchers gear. This is proof for example bear silver sword have some unique bonuses:+5% Adrenaline Point gain +5% Critical hit chance +10% Chance to dismember +20% Bonus experience from monsters .This effect are so much better than you can right now i think. And in lv 25 you can have enhanced version (upgarde) with better effects :+10% Adrenaline Point gain +25% Critical hit damage bonus +5% Critical hit chance +12% Chance to dismember +20% Bonus experience from monsters so ... maybe you be witcher and take some witcher gear (and armor) especially silver sword ?

If they have already told you that your last decision could have had a different outcome, it only shows that in the future you can always come back to this game and play the game a second or third time or more, because even if you spend 300-400 hours here you can still discover new things. The fiend and troll decoctions are the only ones I ever really use. The fiend decoction makes it so you're carry weight is increased by a minimum of 20 depending on your upgrades, the troll decoction makes it so you constantly regenerate health at a faster rate and then also per kill regenerate a little more. There's a two most useful in the game in my opinion and they don't break it they just make it so you don't have to rest as much to regenerate health and you don't have to go back to town as often to sell s***.

Little tip : if u have a sword with a good stat, u better up this stat, 10% igni + 3 igni stones will be better than 10% igni and 2% of this and 3% of that. (Obviously it depend on the enemy too). Also stones are in 3 categories lesser, normal and greater (you need to buy blueprints and you will be able to up them like mutagens).

I have a huge information to share, WHIRL can be SO much more powerful, when it gets a buff from a DLC, BUT you need to go do a quest in the DLC quickly and come back to main game (same as you did by going to skellige then later coming back to novigrad its just a detour haha) I think seeing a youtuber go out of his way getting that buff and coming back to the main game is quite crazy and would be very funny/fun somewhat. The quest is already in your quest log, its called: "Enchanting: Start-up Costs"

To be honest, this is the first time in my life I seen challenging monsters in this game (I think because of upscale and death march) 25:50. Every other setting make them too easy. The only true difficult fights I seen in this game are the ones where the monster HEALS (Jenny of the wood that you beat, and another guy in the DLCs)

12:10 probably this is it Ekimmara decoction Ekimmara decoction is a potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that grants 10% life leech. The damage does not need to be directly dealt by Geralt. Inflicting enemies with damaging conditions like bleeding and burning will also give health regeneration. Causing these conditions to multiple enemies at once can result in astonishing rates of health regeneration. But use many decoction in fight is impossible because there is toxity limit -exept if you are witcher from Manticore school.

Yeah here is my health 101: Healing STACKING: - Food/water - REFRESHEMENT - Swallow - Hit = gain health (decoction) - using adrenaline = gain health (decoction) - The most powerful potion that you only got the enhanced version of it yet for now (the Normal version is apparently in skellige aswell so you can go explore other isles perhaps, OR at the oxenfurt vendor from what I read) - Superior golden oriol (if you are poisoned) - Gear with +XXX vitality - Green mutagen in the skills equipement tab

You schould do Yennefer quest BEFORE go for Uma -this is very important . Other quests are secondary but i think is better do that before Ugly baby .

Tons of people in the world of The Witcher actually know about Geralt and Yennifer because of Dandelion spreading rumors and writing books and ballads about them. Also Uenn is kind of notorious for being a powerful bitch that doesn't care about anyone that isn't Geralt or herself. Also armor piercing is good for trolls and elementals on silver swords.

Right now might be a good time to head back to Novigrad to do the Now Or Never quest for Triss. You can hold off on Yen’s Last Wish quest for a little bit but you’ll be fine as long as you don’t do the main mission right now because that will make it disappear. Sorry for my English, is not my first language. It is simple: because the people who use sarcasm on a daily basis feels themselves at home with people who also uses it. Sarcastic Hawke (Dragon Age 2) is pretty much how I talk XD The only problem I have with Yen is that she is too stubborn reaching _my way or the highway_ levels. I prefer when people can take other perspectives into consideration. Geralt is a morally grey character, any relationship with a morally good person is doomed to failure. It is common for people who are morally grey to dislike being in the company of morally good people, because they feel constantly judged for everything they do. Even if the morally good person doesn't do it on purpose it is still suffocating, that is what happened to Geralt with Shani if the player chooses to have a relationship with her in the first game: " Though a very young woman, Shani proved more mature than the witcher, who had always found relationships puzzling and difficult. Geralt would dodge his obligations towards her, preferring instead to pursue the missions King Foltest assigned him. The medic quickly realized this flour would yield no bread. After splitting with Shani, the witcher needed comforting and quickly found solace in Triss Merigold's arms."

The Last Wish quest IS time limited, I don't get it why some people in the comments are saying that's it isn't (but i have my suspicionsXD). You can do other quests but if you start the Ugly Baby main quest, the Last Wish will not be available :/ As for the quests with the mask and Lofoten, I love how it shows Yennefer's true character, her obstinacy, determination, strong will and love for those who are dear to her heart. Her decisions can be questionable, feeling wrong but the true is she's doing everything she can to find and help their daughter; agreement with Emperor, being tortured( not that fun,but fun fact from the booksXD )for example, or forbidden necromancy. Let's not forget that this quests are not only about helping and saving Ciri but also saving other's from the Wild Hunt too. We can see that bringing Skjall back was painfull and disgusting for her, she didn't want to do this but it was necessary and she takes full responsibility, even when the results may be bad. Her taking all the blame on herself wasn't only because she's feeling guilty of what she has done, but also to spare Geralt, at least a little, from people's disgust and hatred that she will experience when the news spreads. We know that witchers are treated badly by people, regardless their social status, and she knows it too, so she tries to protect him from it. She doesn't care about how she will be seen, she cares for Geralt's doing well in life even when they are not together at times and I adore her because of this, among other things. Apart from dwelling about Yennefer's supremacy, what I always find interesting are words spoken from one of the sisters in the garden. These words always seemed to me like words of a casted curse.. Either way, it was nice to watch this episode while eating, I'm waiting for more!

The time has come to make the big decision. Will you choose the teddy bear or the big bad wolf, its up to you. I would suggest going back and doing the Triss quest first, since you spent quite some time with Yen just now, and give it one last chance to change your opinion.

Bro...IM PLAYING ON DEATHMARCH LOL. I have been from the very first episode. And after maybe 5 episodes, viewers convinced me to turn on enemy upscaling LOL. So again, this game is NOT hard for me. I don't what to tell you man. I play by my own rules and I'm clearly doing fine!

Relax. I've been posting a ton of them. Playing something else for a few days doesn't mean I'm done with the witcher 3. Whenever I start a new series, I always give them a few videos to gauge their performance and get them on their feet.

Ok let me explain to you MY PERCEPTION (without trying to impose it to you brother, I am just sharing), me seeing you not using whirl on monsters gathered in group of 3 or 4, nor using quick bombs before doing the paries you love so much , nor that much signs, and of course NO decoctions, is like YOU watching GOKU not use Kamehameha. I just want to see you SLASH/ DESTROY everything. Make the game as difficult as you want with game options ok, but YOU HAVE to use all the tools you have to DESTROY them. Seeing you being afraid of using things that make the enemies sliced quicker is like goku using punchs all the time (to avoid destroying his enemies with kamehameha), sure it can work, but as anime viewer it can get quite boring. But seeing you slash everything everytime? Kind of entertaining. Be FASTER, STRONGER, with ALL THE TOOLS the game offer you. See a water hag? Withing 2 seonds, use a bomb, slash and whirl, second bomb, igni, potion for extra damage (thunder potion). Combat ends 3 times faster! Do you know how strong a SUPERIOR thunder potion is? Well.. +50% damage, and 100% crit chance in some weather conditions. My perception is: It's more fun to see a powerful Geralt = more entertaining to watch. Without even needing to reduce the game difficulty, you can make Geralt stronger and keep monsters as they are and it's okay if you steamroll them. Be Saitama :)

Maybe just let him play the game the way he wants to. Even though it might seem like he's missing a lot according to you, Ace's still enjoying the game and that's what's important. Trying to tell him what he should and shouldn't do because you feel he's not playing the right according to you might not help that much. He has a TON of hours left to explore and figure it out, let's just see what he does and wants to do instead :)

@@tv4nobs I do think that's important to point out, there's really no wrong way to play and Ace sure seems to have no problems cutting enemies down - but on the other hand, he might enjoy the mechanics that are currently less used! Tbh I was surprised to learn that Death March was nerfed a bit in the update, and while it certainly doesn't take away from the skill here, it seems it doesn't force you to do as much prep for fights as it used to. If the average Death Marcher had to prep the oils and signs and bombs before pretty much every fight with more than one or two enemies before, even a top-skilled player would have had to do it for a bunch of the bigger fights. So because the game no longer actively forces exploring the other combat options, I think raising them as additional cool things you can do is cool.

@@auskaesq Ace killed jenny of the woods in level 3 or 4 or something, no dark blood, no much skills, no much stats, Since that day there is no real challenging enemy for him. Also He has AUTO OIL, so that's convenient, he no longer needs to do it. I think one of the reasons is not "unchained" is because he plays in controller instead of keyboard, keyboard allow you quick acces to all 4 potions/bombs at once. He could equip 3-4 bombs and throm them all within seconds with keyboard, but in controller it's much less easy to do 'you have to do swapping" etc. There is too much frictions, and less direct access to decoctions and other tools, doing quick and strong hits is easier for the mind, no swap to do, it feels more straighforward. My feeling about it, I could be wrong. Add that to him not wanting the game to be too easy for some reason, you get to understand how he can do death march + upscaling, so easily

i think he's not playing in Death March (hardest) difficulty... so there's no need for him to use everything at his disposal (he doesn't even need the best gear for that matter...)... This is probably why he also isn't chasing the Places-of-power for extra ability points, or researching the synergy of specific abilities+decoctions+potions+gear effect >> he doesn't need to, because the game-difficulty is set to medium-ish... (btw, the ''+100-200 health'' with Redanian armor is not worth it... Geralt has at this poitnt 4000+ health and extra 2-4% is miniscule compared to let's say ''+40% damage resistance of some-kind''...)
