I also similar white hair issues. I also got bullied for it, like I got called grandpa. Eventually I started to accept it and now I am 19 and about 60% of my hair is white and I just leave it be. I realised that it is still a part of me and I can’t hate it and there is no need to be ashamed of it

My ten year old niece has quite a few grey hairs already. I developed them at 30. My Somalian friend had nearly a full head of grey when she was 17 years old. Everyone is different. I personally use black henna to dye my hair once a month, it's so messy though! It stains the bath tub and everything. 😅

I have the exact same thing, and to be honest, I looked it up myself and it’s just ultra rare it’s completely normal for a few people to have it but everyone that does have it. They are just completely healthy and that we were just born like it. And for me it started when I was in elementary school as well in 6 grade I also got a bullied but it’s not my insecurity❤ And it shouldn’t be anyone!

I’m a guy and have the exact same genetic trait! Being Vietnamese-Korean, I’ve got thick, straight, jet black hair so it really contrasts. Started getting grey hairs frequently when I was 10 or 11, i’m 27 now and the density is about the same as your roots. I used to stand in front of the mirrors plucking away at them during high school but then I just could not be bothered anymore and have just embraced it since then. Surprisingly, when I let my beard grow out, there’s not a single grey hair. Similarly, I kinda wished it was more grey as I actually wouldn’t mind it.

I think you should let it grow out, and make your hair all naturally white/grey. I think it be so pretty/cool on you really. Those people who bullied you, were probably just jealous they didn’t get something as individually special as you had it. Especially when you can take the advantage of it, and dye it blond/baby pink or any other colours you think will suit you. You should be grateful or very happy to have that advantage. I’ll know I be very lucky, but it’s not your fault, those girls made you think otherwise.

I'm so sorry that you were bullied. I've got some grey hairs a couple of years now and have been so ashamed of it. I also got some remarks from a colleague, which is really mean off course. It made me really insecure and I never talk about it. I'm now finally starting to embrace it. And think of it like they are cool glittery stripes in my hair. If someone would comment on them I would probably still feel some pain, it's just a process of starting to accept. I also have premature greys due to genetics. Mine is like yours and I still cover my crown and hairline area, but don’t mind the ones that grow in the back. My sister (younger than me) ditched the hair dye and rocks her long natural hair. People actually complement her and think she had it done at a salon 😂

Younger ppl with gray hair and streaks and such always look so magical and wise to me it’s very beautiful unique thing to have and I always admire those who show it off , and nowadays ppl dye their hair to get streaks and two diff colors in their hair so to have it naturally is super cool and fun imo but I’m sure kids could be brutal about it growing up and bullies always like to pick on kids with differences of sorts no matter who miniscule or harmless or even great those differences make a person :,(

My great grandmother had entirely white hair starting when she was 21. We never knew why until recently. Apparently, polio can make your hair go white. I think it also made her sterile, cuz she had to adopt her third child to get a girl.

I totally can relate to this bc i started getting my white hair when i was 2 or 3 bc of a disease. And i got bullied of that and i needed to see a mental health doctor bc of that. I used to cry everytime i think about it. But not i think that everyone have something special, that I'm special bc of my white hair. And I ppl who bully others should just shut up bc you never know if can make others have mental health problems.
