first drive of any swap is nearly unexplainable, my 5.0 swapped ranger going down the road for the first time was insane even tho the clutch wouldn't disengage, got pulled over, and busted a fuel line😅 but I still had a stupid smile on my face😂

I'm kinda diggin the high shifter, it reminds me of the old gassers! Not only is this some of the coolest shit on the Tubes, but it's also the coolest 'outro'.

Honestly, I know you said that you're going to change the shifter cause it's too tall, but I honestly think it suits the car perfectly!!!! It adds that hole rat chop, badass style to the vehicle that makes a conversation piece along with the rest of the monster V8 crammed into the front of it!! But it's your build, so make it how you like it!!! I've always wanted to take this year CRX and swap it over to a 2 door Subaru WRX drivetrain and have a crazy horsepower All wheel drive CRX that weighs almost nothing and just go and Eat up all of the Hondas out there that think they're fast!!!! Cause it would look like a normal CRX, just all wheel drive and stupid fast!! But again, if I had the time and sweet V8 engine, I'd definitely do the same thing you're doing!!!!! As always, thanks for making awesome vehicles and making great videos to watch and give people the inspiration to take the leap forward and build their dream vehicle!!!!!

I used to mob a crx between Fort Irwin in California to San Bernardino back in 2000 a lot... I tried to blow it up. It would not. I traded it in for a 1994 chevy 1500 short bed. Go "Tombell chevrolet".

I really like all of you builds, Unpredictable to say the least. I would suggest checking all the transmission and torque converter bolts. I've see a flex plate that cracked at the torque converter bolts and make the same sound. It seems to clear up off idle. out

Wicked build a bit Janky to say the least but with some great mounts to reinforce mechanical parts it is going to do wonders along with some fine tuning.

I am going to need 2 floor shifter kits... my 57 chevy needed a new column and I was at classic in okc and they had a chrome one, with no shifter... but it was good price. And one for my 74 k5 2wd. That was standard and I am going auto...

In my experience, remanufactured calipers have a high rate of having bleeder screw issues.
