Man, everyone desperate to have a piece of him.....must be exhausting, especially after 5 days of non stop chess .....but, as the saying goes.....With great power comes great responsibility!! Carlsen has truly brought SUPERSTARDOM to chess in ways never seen before.....like has often been the case with other more "glamorous" and massy sports around the world.....and yet, his Chess game remians UNFAZED and he's still miles ahead of the competition which is desperate to beat him, and get some of that coveted limelight ..... My admiration and respect to the GOAT!!🐐💯🐐

i dont get how the crown doesnt crush him. he just doesnt falter at all. Absolutely mindblowing. Surely all that pressure and attention would affect you even a little? Surely age would take you downa bit? He just doesnt lose. Had he not lost to MVL he wouldve gone what,32 rapid + blitz games unbeaten against at least GM opponents? This guy has done everything multiple times yet he still never ceases to astound

@@niranjanrajesh1058 Agreed....well said!👍🏻 I also think that he can surpass Kasparov in longevity as the world number 1..... ofcourse alot of years left still, but I am sure he's motivated to do that....I don't see anyone from the current crop of players, both old and young coming close to dethroning Magnus anytime soon!

I think it was more because of being the last day and because is was more about controlling the result on the last 2 rounds, so he was kind of already catching the title 2 rounds before the last one, it was not like he was under pressure. If he wins this with a victory last round on demand or something, i thin we would see a more enrgetic reaction

15:25 - that seems overwhelming. Magnus is exhausted from playing exceptional chess for days on end, constantly barraged by people, and he still finds it in him to go back out and face a tidal wave of people. GOAT!

Look at Magnus at 17:16 and 17:21, he almost lost consciousness a couple times while walking through the crowd. He looks like he's crashing after the adrenaline rush that was keeping him going throughout the games all day.

We possibly will never have a world champion like Magnus ever again, much like what Sachin was for cricket. You may not like his personality but you can't question his greatness over the board. He is unquestionably the Greatest ever, even Garry didn't have this level of consistency. His results, consistency and drive are absolutely unbelievable!

I really don't understand why they can't organise the crowds into a formation, and then when Magnus is ready they can approach him for an autograph or selfie. Having dozens of people swarming him, grabbing, pulling, sticking cameras in his face, shoving chess boards at him is a disgrace. The organisers of the events should be ashamed of themselves.

That lounge thing is totally deserved given how he's treated with so much disregard to his personal space and human needs. He literally said he needed two minutes to himself and they kept mowing him down. Maybe he'll become much more selective than he already is with his participations. I wouldn't find it remotely surprising if he never plays this event again given how large scale it is for anyone to do proper crowd control and organise player meet and greet at a convenient time in an orderly manner.

I feel like there could be a better way of organizing the mobs of autograph seekers. Maybe have a designated signing area, and seekers draw random lots for their place in line. It's fun for me to watch, but watching Magnus I can see him getting more and more tired each day. Also, anyone thinking Magnus doesn't need a private lounge needs to watch this video.
