Great build, I bought the same RAM and 6600M from Aliexpress, the 6600M doesn't like my AM5 build but ok with the AM4, might flash it to a 6600 BIOS to unlock the fan, clocks voltage sliders and for more stability.

you could build a better one for £500 however you did go for the white theme. for the price to peformance you could get amd ryzen 5 5500 for £84 with a good AM4 upgrade path a 2060super from aliexpress b550m am4 stock cooler amd, 500gb ssd, corsair ddr4 ram 16gb for the psu u could get the a650bn 650 watts from msi which is like £5 more then the a550bn worth it and any case. im building this computer and it does really good for the given budget

Man, I bought the same PSU for my spare pc that I'm putting together and I'm using a case from an old prebuilt I bought when the 20 series cards released. any who, when I went to install the psu, it didn't fit lol I didn't notice that it was a compact size, unfortunately had to return it :(

Here’s my dilemma, I found a rx 5700xt for the same price as a 3050, benefit to 3050 no external power required. Would the 6600M be better than the above?

If you don’t care about the “no external power” thing, meaning your Pc has power to spare, I’d say grab the 5700XT

is there any way i can optimize my pc because i have a rtx 4060 and 5600x but in dx12 low i get 260 fps but it stutters a lot and i get frame drops down to like 2

Uh that's really not a lot to go on considering you didn't even mention what game, what build what resolution etc. How am I supposed to guess any of that based on your graphics card and CPU? I didn't even know your game let alone with board and RAM so I have no earthly idea it can be anything from RAM timings to game optimization on your drivers.

Could be a good cheap replacement, but the fans on there can’t be controlled (speed or RGB) so just be aware of that!

I do all my benchmarks on a separate pc so they don’t interfere with the performance, but id imagine it could record or stream with minimal performance loss

This is pretty impressive for five hundred bucks honestly, even got that extensions matching. Ngl this actually looks like a 1200$ PC easily. Also I'm pretty sure the 6600m is a laptop GPU which..is weird like why is it not in a laptop? Idk I guess it works really super well though, considering it is basically like a 5700xt it seems like only for 100w, that's damn near low power enough to run low profile with no power connectors. At so low power budget you can unironically run this thing on a 320w junk PSU for some slim office PC. 9:49 oh nvm that's definitely NOT like a 5700XT, can you up the power budget at all? Because 5700XT-ish gets 42fps on ultra settings at 1440p. That thing should get at least 60fps locked on high, if not closer to ultra.

Wanting to do a AMD 5 series cpu and amd gpu build with a case like HYTE Y60. I dont play multiplayer games just looking for a great experience with AAA games. i think it would just depend on what frames it's putting out, this is really a 1080p build so if you play on that it won't really matter, i'm no pc pro but you can see in the testing it puts out really good frames

Lucaz said it right. This is a 1080p build, so sure you could use a 1440p monitor but your frames will be lacking if you play in 1440p

Sorry mate, League of Legends would get 200+ FPS on every PC - its not worth testing at this point unless its literally like a $50 PC or something. Just assume it will run at an insane framerate haha

Pretty big CPU bottleneck, instead of the i3 maybe a 5500 would work better and could possibly be cheaper.

You can make tons of alternatives for sure, but the 12100F out performs the 5500 in pretty much every aspect - so much so that gamers nexus made two entire videos about it haha. Doesn’t mean you can’t use it though, it’s all about what’s available, on sale etc.
