My father served in the US Army's special forces at An Loc, then the Republic of Vietnam Navy. This year he is 74 years old, working as a farmer in a poor countryside, with a hobby of growing trees. Wish you health. Thanks and Respect.

I really enjoyed this post except that many that died were fairly young.I am 74 now and can remember friends from that era that are dead and the ones that still alive. Even in the 1960's life was more pleasant than it is today in a lot of ways, I have been truly blessed to have lived through it with a wonderful wife ( married in 1967 and still together and still very happy). Amazing, thank you for the follow up. I knew which one you were ! I was so touched by your super 8 film. I was very captivated by the young blond woman, she seemed so sad in the film. I saw she died at 20, what heart break.

I agree about the young lass with the curls. She does seem so sad. I do hope the 20 years she left were good times.

The blonde girl didn’t die at 20, but 20 years later in 1988. One of the guys died in 1978. Very sad.
