My friend lied about PC Gaming all the time. He alwaays lied his "best friend" about PC's and how they cost a lot and that they are very laggy compared to his Xbox One. He got a Xbox One, because of my friend and later he became my friend. Once he visited me, because I told him that I just got my new gaming computer and soon after that he was just speechless of the performance my computer could get. I could play Assasin's Creed with 60fps while on his Xbox he wasn't even getting half of the performance. He after that swtiched to PC and since then his Xbox is collecting dust. Afterwards my console peasant friend got off his disease and now everyone plays on PC. A story with a good end :D.

PC has always been superior for a variety of reasons. *Bigger games:* During the days of cartridges, the games were limited by their data size. Many workarounds were found, like pallet swapping as a prime example,to increase the content available in games. But there were still limits. With a PC the only limitations are your disk size and hardware specs. *Mods and patches:* Even today with our many online options for consoles, PC still claim greater variety and playability. I'm currently a console gamer that's in the process of buying the parts needed to build a gaming PC. My goal is to put together a machine that will play all the games that are currently out there, as well as, games that will be released in the not to distant future, with better performance on my gaming PC, than my Sony PlayStation 4 Pro and my Microsoft Xbox One S, in terms better frames per seconds, smoother game play, and the most important, an instant and noticeable improvement in on screen graphics, over my consoles. So far, I have a MSI H110M Gaming Motherboard, DIYPC Shadow White case, a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming Z 8GB GPU, and I just purchased a Intel Core i7 6700k from my local computer store at a great deal!. Here's my question. People on the forums are saying that it would be a big mistake to use my MSI H110M Gaming Motherboard with my Intel Core i7 6700k since I cannot overclock the processor with my motherboard and I cannot use RAM that's faster than 2133 MHz. They say that I should buy a Z170 motherboard. But I never intended to overclock this gaming PC at the start. I just want to build this gaming PC, install Windows 10 and start gaming with a better experience than my consoles can provided in terms of better frames per second, smoother game play, and better graphics. Since I'm already going over my budget as it is, I would prefer to use the MSI H110M Gaming Motherboard that I already have with 16GB of DDR4 2133 RAM, then in the future when it's time to upgrade or there's a need, then buy a better motherboard and overclock and buy faster RAM. Can I get by for time being with my MSI H110M Gaming Motherboard, Intel Core i7 6700k, and 16GB of DDR4 2133 RAM and have a better experience with my gaming PC, than my consoles in terms of better frames per second, smoother game play, and better and more noticeable graphics over consoles? I switched back to my old pc after trying to play games on my ps4 for about six months,it was frustrating to say the least. I paid for ps plus to play with my friends but game invites never seem to work good, telling me that my friends are either not online or their lobby is not available. When I did play with them, we couldn't communicate with random teammates ever because most people on consoles(in my experience) do not use a mic. In the end, I just hooked my old gaming pc back up and got some new fans to make it silent. Now I'm playing (almost) all the same games at a higher resolution, a higher frame rate, and much more responsive controls. I don't have any network issues and I can play with my friends, without any issues, all for free. it feels good to be back in the warm tender embrace of the PC master race

Using a PC gives you the benefit of having a home work desktop to do any work, KZfaq videos, rendering, uploading, designing, and gaming. Even if you buy a $800 or more computer, you're still saving money from buying a console because you don't have to buy another computer to do the other stuff.

This is my rig I5 3570K MSI 670 PE 16GB DDR3 Built early 2012. Still plays all the games i throw at it, although setting has to be toned down for most games. Im probably upgrading this summer (because i want to, and well new console versions), but there you go 5 years usage of the same rig. All i need is a new gtx 1070.

I don't even go into steam to play my games all my most played games are on my desktop I just boot up and click. In order to play a game on my Xbox if it wasn't one of my recent plays I have to painstakingly scroll over to games and apps and then scroll through the games one by one until I find the one I want to play. Which is easier?

Because upgrading console HDDs is so much easier than adding one to a PC, replacing a GPU, replacing RAM, or installing a new PSU...
