I think Fokoe's criticism of the game is good, as it helps the developer a lot to know what to improve. I just found it sad the way he just makes fun of the game instead of giving constructive criticism.

Although the game has like no gameplay and isn't scary I've got to admit that the graphics look decent for technically a first game project, the game does a great job at environmental storytelling, the OST is really good and all the 2D animation on the raccoon guy is really good. You can tell it's a first game project The comment sections keep saying that Foekoe is being harsh on it but this being a mascot horror I see why he's being cautious about it

I hope they start steering this game in a different direction with chapter 2, because that really felt like "every mascot horror game ever" and that's probably the reason a lot of people didn't give it the light of day. Even though this is their second game ever i think it's fair to criticize it especially considering the fact they want to turn this into a full game, people just need to learn how to give actual constructive criticism instead of just saying the same unfunny joke over and over again.

While this game isn't perfect, its still a 7/10 imo. I agree with Fokoe on some points, like the flashlight being crap when held close too an object, or the designs and setup of the spooky scary characters having that mascot horror feel to them (thats a bad thing), and also the fact its chapter based which is a format of game publishing im tired of. But the world building and the extra little details of the game is what I like, it made it stand out too me from a sea of just crappy kids horror games for babies, this game is not scary, but it has charm, and it has passion behind it as apposed to just being a cash grab. Fokoe making fun of the game just felt like he wasn't giving it a chance at all, yes its ok too complain, that's how people make good games is by listening to criticism. But holy Jesus Christ on a bicycle does this remind me of how Phisnom acts when he dosent like a game (example being fnaf security breach dlc, I didn't like the dlc either but GOD was he annoying.) Fokoe complains about the flashlight like 7 times, like i get it, its annoying, but u can just turn it off, and stop complaining like a gremlin, then they try too break out of bounds for some reason as a joke, but failed to do so because news flash: not every first person mascot horror game is like FNAF security breach, and he just seems like an impatient twat the whole time, its just annoying, especially since this chapter is free, it could've been 5-10 bucks. Im just saying, people need too look at the media they consume with neutral expectations, unless the game is obviously bad of course, the first time I ever saw this game I was like: "ugh another one" but I just decided to play it cuz why not, wasn't perfect, wasn't terrible, but it I actually liked it alot more than I thought i did. Actually give games a chance, read reviews before u buy games, or play demos of them, and see if they're at least worth ur time, if not, just don't play or buy them, alot of people just don't understand that sometimes.

I get where your coming from Foekoe, as a lot of us came in with that connection in mind, while your an outsider looking in. While the flashlight argument with your chat was hilarious. I agree on some points like texture glitch's which the creater already knows about and the play place not really being a play place as its more a lineir platformering section than an actual place for kids and Fnaf Sb got that right with the daycare, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said Sb did it right. Sure it wasn't great but it was a finished game so you could see everything in one playthrough, and it's environments are very entrancing. We know it's the guy's first game, but that doesn't excuse the issues and criticism is needed, though you might have been a bit harsh. I'm personally bias since I love the funny Raccoon but jumping between black transitions is a immersion breaker. I would love to recommend a upcoming game called finding Frankie, where its HOPEFULLY I DON'T KNOW a full game, with parkour elements and a terrifying monster bunny chasing you around. Cause I know how much you hate these unfinished potential mascot games, as for many they love waiting for the puzzle pieces to complete the full picture, but you just want the whole painting. And games should break that mold of chapter based cliches cause when looking back at these games like Poppy Playtime and Indigo in the future they aren't gonna be known for anything spectacular for many, but "oh yeah, these came out unfinished and I had to wait 5 years for the full game". games like Zoophobia and Finding Frankie seem like a spark of light for the Mascot Horror genre. Heck Tattletale is still my favorite mascot horror game of all time
