Great clip! I've been researching the Ripmo V2 and SB130 back to back. One may replace my 2016 27.5 AM rig that I'm on now. Just need to find some demo days again. Thanks for the Info.

Nice, been looking at a 2021 SB 115 T-2 with XO and the 2022 130 T-2 with XO in that beautiful watermelon color, thats $8200.00 without carbon wheels

Cant go wrong w/ either.... JKW brings up some great points on both bikes characters. Love my 130 TLR, great all rounder.

Is it me or do you see more of his top tube than actual trail in front of him. Chest mount is fixed so if he is pedaling with the post dropped you see his knees, and more trail. With post extended, you see less trail and no knees. Might need to watch other riding vids and see if they use a chest mount gimbal. EX Rich Drew, JKW or Jeff Lenowsky

Switched from a V1 RIPMO to a YETI SB130 than to PIVOT FIREBIRD 29 back to a RIPMO V2 This time in ALUMINUM.

You mean is it faster than the RIPLEY, not the RIPMO you are comparing it to the wrong bike. The RIPLEY is 130 like the Yeti SB130, you should compare the SB150 to the RIPMO, not the SB130

Nice, you were hauling arse cheeks on that Yetimeister! It truly is a fast bike that begs to be grabbed tightl and pounded hard! also one second on that PR is substantial, IMO your time had more to do with the geometry and kinematics of the SB130 as opposed to the specific suspension, wheels, and components used that stuff doesn't make a big difference like that. Again, it's all about the kinematics with SI providing the pedaling platform as well as the linearity making it a really good bike to pump out of turns and over bumps, plus the aggressive geometry making the bike super stable and fast making it right at home when it comes to hauling the mail.

Going to a Fox 38 is not an upgrade unless you are going over 160mm. The 36 is a better tuned spec Fork at 160mm then 38. The trail didn’t look too rowdy. I’m willing to bet any smaller bike/XC will be much faster than both bikes. The 130lr is not an enduro bike…
