Caves in rust are some of the strongest and most overpowered places to build your base. Both because of the unknown nature of what could be behind that first door, and also the ability to dictate exactly where your enemies will be raiding from make them an undeniably powerful location. However living underground does have its limitations. It’s notoriously annoying to get electricity working down here, having to opt for generators or by charging up batteries on the surface before bringing them underground. Similarly, its not possible to get water into these caves which means if you wanted to build a farm here, unless you plan on bringing the water down in jugs by hand, you’re out of luck. Well, not exactly. There is one very particular cave that is just close enough to the surface where wires and hoses can reach, opening the door to building an underground farm. So that’s exactly what I’m gonna do, and what better goal than to try and farm 200,000 cloth underground, in celebration of having recently hit 200,000 subscribers.

I can't explain to you how refreshing this video is! You have a main goal of the 200k cloth and a fantastic storyline with you eventually defeating the main villains of the video. Great vid hope theres a lot more to come!

Taking the probabilities from the chart at 34:34 and multiplying them for the corresponding position gives 1 in 158821 odds per seed planted. With your 16 planted seeds it's about 0.010074% chance to get the exact plant you got. What is the chance to get any type of god plant? (meaning 3Y and 3G in any order) There are a total of 20 possible combinations. Each combination has a slighty higher or lower probability to occur, cuz the different positions for a gene have different probabilities. I just calculated 4 of them and took the average (about 1 in 8282) and accounted for your 16 attempts, meaning: The chance to get a god plant after trying 16 times is around 0.1932% or around 1 in 518. That's not terribly unlikely, but still nice. More interestingly: if you plant 210 seeds your chance to get a god plant rise to over 2.5% - I think that's likely enough to go for instead of grinding clones (if you happen to have the seeds, otherwise cloning is prob faster)

chatGPT says it's approximately 0.476% chance of getting 3G's and 3Y's. placing doesn't have to be in that specific order. 5 items(genes) placing into a box(gene slot) randomly. there are 6 boxes total and every box have its own individual chances. boxes cannot be empty. what are the chances of getting 3G's and 3Y's with 6 boxes, regardless of order? chatGPT's answer: The total number of ways to distribute 5 items into 6 boxes (with replacement) is given by the combination formula: C(n+r−1,r)=C(5+6−1,6)=C(10,6) This evaluates to 210. It’s very easy to get electric going in caves. Build a small base with a double layer compound above your cave. Set up wind turbines as normal. Use only one side of a root combiner, and place it on the floor of that base, which should be as low to the ground as you can possibly get it. Now go in your cave, and build a double doorframe stack as high as you can possibly get it into the cave ceiling. Stick another root combiner up there. Connect the two, and enjoy your power. Use as normal. Every cave, every difficulty, every location except for one on the entire map, you can get electric and water.

Just wanted to let you know that there is more than one cave you can reach electrics and water into: both the small hard cave and large sewers cave work.

Large sewers is the best for electric/water, Small Hard can get blocked by the terrain outside, if it's too high. Getting industrial pipes down is also still possible, though not guaranteed.

The friendship with the neighbours is why I play this game. This is how I met some of my best gamer friends who I've played with for years. All because we built next to each other. Had a fight at some stage but then teamed up to kill a greater threat. It's rare but it's the best
