I remember Junkyu said that when he was a trainee he mostly listened to this type of moody/dark songs maybe because he was unsure of his future and he did experienced depression. Im glad he overcame it. I know people are asking YGTB Junkyu to be back because he really looked cool here but I prefer the present Junkyu. He looks so much happy these days. He even listens to more happy songs. Also, he said in the last ep of Treasure Map that the show made him more positive and I wish that he stays that way. I don’t want a sad Junkyu. Bring back their stylist but not totally the YGTB Junkyu.

Junkyu is one of the longest trained after Yedam, top 2 strongest vocals , strongest vocal trio (Junkyu, Yedam & Jeongwoo), Junkyu absolutely aced all the performances in ygtb, Junkyu won overall votes multiple times & even in the final stage of ygtb. Junkyu was added to the debut line after receiving the HIGHEST VOTES amongst all trainees in the VOCAL LINE in the final stage of ygtb. (I recommend everyone to watch ygtb) While still a trainee producers(YHS&JYP) loved his beautiful powerful versatile unique vocals, YHS calls him ACE amongst all his trainees, Junkyu has that YG style vocals, he sang demo songs for seniors (which is a big honour) and their self written songs which are widely loved, the vocal trainers always praised his vocals skills, one of their vocal trainers even said he could record an album right away in ygtb. Whilst still a trainee during ygtb, Junkyu’s cover songs always went viral and his impact and influence is such that it tremendously spiked up the streams for the original song. In fact, Junkyu is a multi lingual singer. He fluently sings in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese etc.(I recommend everyone to check out his covers on Twitter). Junkyu was the first treasure member to trend worldwide for his cover song (Best part) which was noticed by the original singer (Grammy winner singer H.E.R). Many artists/singers even acknowledged and complimented Junkyu’s skills and talent for covering their songs on Twitter, SEAMO (veteran Japanese singer) even praised him saying Junkyu’s skills are better than himself. Many are stanning Junkyu for his beautiful vocals like me. He is loved for his vocals left and right, in & out of fandom & non kpop fans loves his vocals too!!!
