Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but on the "ideally" bit of this video, I get so annoyed when people push PETAesque rhetoric that we should abolish having pets ever, at all. Cats domesticated themselves (which is why they're only semi-domesticated). The idea that having them as pets is somehow unnatural or inferior to them living their lives in the wild doesn’t take into account/respect the freewill of the cats that first chose to begin to live alongside of and cultivate ties to humans.
