Kudos to the judges. They correctly awarded the win to Yi Long despite a very partisan and ill mannered crowd.

Kroger got discouraged from high kicks from getting dumped, just like the dump is supposed to do... Yi took the edge off of Kroger's fight simply by dumping him. I respect the monk's abilities, but thought Kroger put on a better show of abilities. The monk had a bit more strength and endurance, and more sense of authority. Expending more energy doesn't always mean a win...

Such a bad crowd. They have no appreciation for fair-play. This is a sport. ''May the best man win''. The crowd booed all excellence that Yi Long displayed, and applauded every uneffective move of the German guy. Very rude and unfair crowd. Yi Long was far better and he won fair n square.

YOU GUYS ARE CHINESE 'BOTS!!! Heh. Partisan crowd. Plus prob'ly not that sophisticated. I didn't see the weigh-in. Looked like the Chinese fella was giving up some weight to the German guy. Not a huge fan of Muay Thai, except for the leg kicks that both these guys neglect. I've seen the Chinese guy in other fights. Prob'ly should learn his name! LOL! I grew up on boxing and "distance fighting," but I think the grappling from BJJ also is a big plus for tournament fighting. I don't think grappling was allowed in this fight.

I saw this for the first time and without any bias I could still clearly see how this Yi Long just did not take damage. He just wins because he literally takes no damage. His face just shows the exhaustion that one would experience during training. The hits do not count for him. I saw another video where he even opened his defence and walked with head first into the fists of his oponent. To me his "mok publicity" seems to be much more than just publicity he seems to have some defence beyond his physical body and that is the very thing that shaolin monks train.

Yilong defense technique work when he focus to defense then you will take very little demage. The way to avoid this thecnique is to attack when yilong run an attack too.. because when somebody run an attack they are defensless.

@Sei783 4 жыл бұрын
The German guy has potential but he ran out of gas by the third round and he's telegraphing his kicks, lacks an understanding of his range (or is afraid), and really likes to overshoot that right uppercut which he never lands (again because of range). He also doesn't seem to exploit or create weaknesses. Yi Long chopped the guy's leg again and again to soften it up. You can't just rely on the same 1, 2, 3 combo.

The German athlete wasn't even in the same category as a fighter with the Chinese . You like it or not German people Shaolin fighters are way more superior than others for 3 reasons . A ) They start training as soon as they can walk , B ) they are way more disciplined , C ) they are training on fighting for centuries and they can overcome difficulties that we simply do not comprehend fully yet .
