It was many little scenes like this that break your heart. You wonder how much more she can take. Everyone has their limits. Most of us wouldn't have taken his crap, been as nice as Lu Li, or at least confided in more people. She honestly felt alone in this struggle. He certainly wasn't holding out his end of that bargain and she's starting to see the writing on the wall. The drama is great but it tears your heart out. It's great that she finally calls it quits and leaves but so much damage was done to her. Li Man was a willing participant as well as hubby. Lu Li couldn't even meet her coworkers for a meal without hubby getting stupid over it but he could meet his ex for personal reasons. Really, is that a new game...Double Standard? Well we know how that game is played and he'll lose big time. He might be the CEO but Lu Li is the backbone of that office. When this scandal hits the water cooler rumor mill he's gonna feel the pain then. Lu Li is much loved in that office and both families will definitely be upset at him, not her.

He was more concern with Lu Man than Lu Li. He played right into Lu Man's scheme

I have finished watching this Drama but my heart still breaks for LuLi. He is such a naive and selfish man. 🙄

She definitely doesn't think he loves her after that convo with his sister. He's horrible to her. It's really heartbreaking to see her constantly let down over and over.

Notice how kind he is to Lu L after being with the Con Li Man. That's his guilt! Phony. He's thinking with what's in his pants. If he had no feelings for the Con, why would he keep her close . He thinks he's man enough to play two. You play you pay. Weak man. You treat Con Li Man with anything she ask of you and belittles the good girl Li Lu.

En el fondo él se siente atraído por su ex, pero no quiere perder a Lu Li por la plata, esa es la realidad, no hay ningún romanticismo en que la levante en los brazos para acostarla, ni siquiera tiene remordimientos porque ni bien lo llama Li Man después de su jugada magistral, él se olvida que le había dicho que no quería tener nada que ver con ella y la cita para firmar el contrato. Esa clase de hombre no cambia
