But why do they have to be double stored houses? Consider, the retiring generation. Those stairs, can be hard on the older people. One level houses, are generally more conducive to that generation of people. Plus the cost of utilities. Mulowoze ku bintu ebyo.
@issarazak382311 ай бұрын
In a stored house u can creat a room or rooms down stairs to cater for the elderly , just because one or two family members can’t take stairs doesn’t mean all the others won’t.

Enjoyed watching what money can buy in Uganda 🇺🇬! Well put together. My only concern, for Africa in general, is the amount of concrete and steel and other forms of security that we are buying to put up, temporary structures! Most of what's inside of these mansions is regular staff that doesn't warrant all the money spent on protecting these assets outside of human life! Read some comments talking of looking into each other's backyards or overcrowding - oh well, try living in cities across Asia, USA, etc. We need to figure out how to efficiently utilize LIMITED space in Africa especially because we are the youngest continent and most fertile. Bring more of these shows. Thanks

The estate is poorly planned in terms of plot allocation. The first thing when organising an estate, is wall fencing it. Proper allocation of plots to avoid poor architecture.

Africa is trying to de-dollarise (Kicking out the dollar) as the currency to trade. Please encourage your man to stick to shillings. Let him not fear mentioning billions or trillions of shillings. As long as he is using the country's currency that's fine. Mubeela mutuzza mabega bwemutusiba ku dollar.

@LetsTravellChannel10 ай бұрын
I am thinking if you can afford a plot, you can also have a say in how the community amenities will cater to folks with disabilities. Then include the same on your property. That's an important point as disabilities can occur to anyone too not just the ones born with them. Thanks

That's common around the world. In Kenya 🇰🇪 been that way since -colonial era in some of their upmarket areas - though it's changed a lot since the 80s and 90s for areas that used to be exclusive back then, now free fall 😢 like kilimani, kileleswa, lavington, etc. Muthaiga still standing and a few places in Runda, Spring Valley, Of course KAREN

Most Ugandans think building a double storeyed house is a sign of class. Unfortunately it’s not, people should travel to get more exposed.
