Siwan really has a lot of different sides. I didn't know a lot about him as a person, I knew him because of his dramas and movies. So watching him here was interesting and heart-warming. I can see that he's a hard-working boy with a beautiful mindset. Keep doing your best Siwan, I'll be waiting for your new projects!!

I'm so shocked that Yim Siwan is here on DBS. I'm also happy that Siwan and Eric are good friends. I watched a lot of Siwan's works because he is my top actor in Korea. He really inspred me a lot specially because I'm also an artist (writing and drawing field)He is very hard working and talented.

Whenever I see siwan I'm reminded of the soothing, cozy, and comfort vibes he gave me in both run on and summer strike, I get too immersed when I watch such characters and I believe that whomever can pull such characters are already acting masters, that's not all, he can also embody nasty and psycho roles so well. He always triggers my curiousity while acting and I find that very interesting. I'm rooting for you. Thank you for all the masterpieces that you starred in. You are a hidden gem that will be worldwide recognized for its incredible talent, one day you will win an oscar with a korean work you don't need to go to Hollywood, Hollywood will come to you.

Si wan is such a beautiful person. Look at his smile. Honey drips when he looks at us with those shining eyes. I'll forever be amazed by the range of characters he plays. He can be a fluffy romantic guy and also a psychopath terrorist. Huge respect and lots of love for him. We love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don’t watch much of Kdrama. But I was totally blown away by Siwan’s performance in Misaeng. It goes without saying how talented he is as an actor. I also think he has the perfect face for a dramatic actor. He is not overly handsome, even though he is very handsome. I have this idea that being too pretty or too handsome for actors/actresses can be a hindrance for them to portray a believable character, especially a protagonist role. Of courses there’re many exceptions to the rule.

the thing about being a fan since 2nd gen, you know the struggles of 2nd gen idols just to get through even when people throw rocks on them (rumors, negative comments & even physical abuse) but ended up succeeding 🥹 I doubt new fans are gonna be shocked to know that siwan, hyungsik & kwanghee are all in a one group before like they are the top entertainers & actors in the industry now but yeah those were the times and i’m happy they discovered their own passion 💝

Watch Emergency Declaration! He is even more of a psycho there. Strangers from Hell really shows his acting range though. He gradually descends into paranoia and madness throughout the series because of the circumstances he is in. But my favourite drama from him has to be Misaeng. His character Jang Geu-rae is so endearing and will forever have a place in my heart. ❤

Siwan is so beautiful. There was a point I was watching him talk in this video that I unconsciously stopped hearing him and was just staring at his face. To me, he's one of the best, if not the best actors I've seen who started out as an idol first. His versatility amazes me so much. I have watched almost everything he's been in, and he never ceases to amaze me with his skills. He brings his characters to life in a unique way. I can't wait to see what next he has in store to show his audience. From the moment I laid my eyes in his acting in Misaeng, I knew his potential was limitless. He makes whatever he does seem effortless. So skilled.

Just a thought to share: Isn't the contrast between his soft and friendly facial features and the superb acting creating something extraordinary and exciting in his villain roles? I first saw him in a nice-guy-role and maybe I have had a different first impression than if I saw, for example, 'Unlocked' first. But I do believe the tension of contrast is one element why he is probably often considered ideal as the villain. Not because he is bad, but because his acting is simply opposing to what you expect from him, based on looks and obviously his personality. That was a super fun and inspiring interview. I’m not sure why this is such a huge shock to me but it definitely is. I frickin love it. Eric and Si Wan are both amazing human beings and so hardworking and talented so it makes perfect sense that they’re good friends. Also the start of the interview where you’re basically having a compliment competition and arguing over who is more inspiring was so awkward and uncomfortable yet so pure and adorable 💜

I have always followed Im Siwan's works despite not being into kdramas that much. His filmography is something you can trust. From Misaeng, Emergency Declaration, Strangers from Hell, Merciless, etc and now Summer Strike. He has a broadd range of emotions, I find myself breatahless watching his performances. it's such a delight to see him on interviews like this as he is!

It’s so fascinating to see Siwan in interviews because I feel like it’s pretty rare for him. I’ve watched almost all of his dramas, but my favorites are “Misaeng” and “Strangers From Hell” (which is a totally underrated drama imo). Also, I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since Misaeng. Where does the time go…

I just finish to watch “Misaeng Incomplete life” ( of course I watched “ Run on” and “Summer Strike”) and the reason was Si Wan. woah siwan is such a refined gentleman... he is hard work birthed talent in so many aspects and on top of that he keeps up with his surroundings/exercises etc, no excuses fr... he doesn't talk much about himself... inspired!!! thank you for this interview~

I’m always amazed at yim si wan, how talented he is and how he’s able to be very skilled in all his works. Idk how he does it. Like his acting alone is on a different level. I would struggle with acting because i would feel too awkward with all the attention on me along with having a short attention span, short term memory and would have a difficult time keeping a straight face or convincingly convey every emotion. Plus, i’m not creative enough to expand in range of emotions and ideas to make the roles i would play in memorable, unique and one of a kind. Yim si wan has done that.

seeing siwan grow to this level of an actor since zea days and seeing how he loves acting but still hasn't given up on music :') i really miss zea and still holding out to hope that one day there will be a reunion with all 9 members. remember everyone, zea is not broken up~

siwan is an incredible artist. He always knows what he wants to do and makes every effort to achieve his goal. I'm glad he chose the way that suits him so well and he is getting better and better every single day. Also, I'd learn from him that it's never to late to continue doing what we used to do if we do not want it become mere memory. Just keep fighting, siwan, see you next time!
