Lesson 1: Light on the Path
The first Lesson speaks of the little Book - Light on the Path - written by M.C ( Mabel Collins, who was a member of the Theosophical Society ). Its subtitle is "a treatise written for the personal use of those who are ignorant of the eastern wisdom, and who desire to enter within its influence." The text provides rules that serve as rungs of a ladder in the progress of the spiritual life.

Before the soul can stand in the presence of the Masters, its feet must be washed in the blood of the heart."
