Zylus really saw that he had accidentally grabbed the powder, decided to just roll with it and take as much time as possible, then decided to use not even red dyed leather armor with a sign explaining the build. Then he proceeded to get mad that other people used signs that were just part of the build, not lazily avoiding putting details? Good grief my guy

Zylus, the issue with your sign usage is obviously that you're breaking the 4th wall to TELL the viewer what the build is. That's completely different from having in-world usage of signs like using them as striking signs or speech bubbles.

Signs are fine when they're being used as signs. Not when they're being used as labels. Those were protest signs, with protests written on them as you might find at a protest. If it doesn't make sense for the sign to be there, or if it's being used a sign whose sole purpose is to identify something, then it's not ok. Having a sign next to Santa saying "I'm Santa!" doesn't make sense. Putting a sign on someone as a nametag makes sense in that context, but just serves to identify and isn't ok.

Well also the protest signs don't have the word "Protest" written on them at all, it is implied to be a protest, not written out.

As a Dutchman, I can confirm what Zylus says about christmas is true, but christmas is in and off itself a kind of second christmas. On the 5th of December we celebrate Sinterklaas, where we hand out presents given to us by the Saint Nicholas and his helpers. Then on the 25th we do christmas, where some families hand out presents yet again, thought this is rare.

the use of signs are ok as long as they do not contain the prompt or key words of the prompt(like santa), that is where Duncan's use of signs differ from Zylus's Blatant use

To get a Christmas tree, we use my mother as a ruler, as she is the tallest member of the family. We got about two feet taller than she is, and every year we scrape the ceiling.

Christmas eve is present time, and a big Christmas dinner, with pork and duck, first Christmas day we have a nice lunch, second Christmas day we kick out everyone, and they go home to themself :D That is how it works here in Denmark.
