Kadohei, located near Yokohama Station, was established in 1950.
Originally operating as a pork cutlet shop, the restaurant had an obsession with pork cutlets.
Later, under the leadership of the proprietress, Mrs. Fumiko Fujie, the business was converted to a soba noodle shop.
The original tsuke-ten-soba
Hot dipping sauce, shrimp tempura, and special handmade soba noodles. The founder of the restaurant went through a lot of trial and error when he invented Tsuketen-soba. The crispy tempura and the rich broth enhance the flavor of the soba.
Katsu-don (pork cutlet served on top of a bowl of rice)
The juicy katsudon is very popular as the restaurant's signature dish. This dish, consisting of onions and pork cutlet topped with egg, is especially noted for the thick, juicy texture of the cutlet and the sweetness of the fat.
Numerous celebrities have visited Kadohei and added color to its history. Kadohei continues to offer a taste that is loved by many, while preserving its long history and traditions.
