I’ve beaten boss, or more often, gotten the boss player to rage quit, but when a character is built where any second you’re not using one particular move is suboptimal, then something’s wrong with the character.

Bard is so messed up if you’re playing against someone who can setup the different song moves that stuff is so devious especially with the automatic follow up on every single hit

Great collab! I would love to see sum "funneh" or "replay beauty" based tierlist in the future, because when you play yomi really often, most of the time you do less care about the power of the character, and more about how funny the battle would be. (btw vixen S tier rn beacause after rework she can oneshot in her Furious stance)

Wonderboy is pretty god damn devious. He can easily be zoned by quite a lot of characters since they can hit him through roll, but that can play well to his gameplan with Ghost Jab, D'Amato Shift, Pull Counter, Flicker, Footwork, or Smokin' Right to catch them. What makes him wonderful is the fact that his combos might be near inescapable , but he doesn't do ridiculous dmg inside combos. The dmg scaling hits him hard. But if you can manage to stay inside and infight, he's ridiculously scary, even at neutral frames. That grab, D'Amato Shift, and Pull counter Three-way mixup is fucking scary. But he can easily just not do the mixup and do flicker to catch dodges, or Ghost Jab High to deal with jumps. He's a perfectly made character with really strong points but also obvious weaknesses. He also heavily relies on good reads since he got barely any projectile(Not counting Hitman's Right since it's a breeze to dodge), weak air game and only two evasive moves through Pull Counter and D'Amato shift which are still inherently risky. His ground game is extremely good because of Roll, but he's nowhere as fast as Toji, but he's a counterhitter/feinter's dream character. also, don't forget his grab. You can setup mad mix-ups and checkmate situations with it through Oki.

The one character I would place way higher is doubledown and it's because of a mechanic that's rarely mentioned but insanely strong, and that's the fact that if a card hits the opponent or one of their projectiles, or if you pick up a coin you threw out, you immediately become actionable, even if you were in hitstun, which has some ludicrous potential if you know how to take advantage of it. You can do easy trade combos with moves that throw cards, use a homing card to break out of a combo in case you get hit on approach, toss a coin forward then approach or use reward under it so it lands on you or jump into it using risk for extremely safe approaches that don't even cost free cancels, you can break the rules in so many ways with card and coin cancels and if you know what you're doing he can hold his own against almost any character, I would place doubledown at high b at worst Also scythe is kind of broken because he's one of those characters that's just not designed properly and has extremely stupid frame data for no reason, he has stuff like a frame 6 meterless quick slash that's actionable frame 7, a meterless teleport that's actionable frame 8, a frame 3 actionable stance switch and a frame 4 aerial guard break

Toji can free cancel grab in the air though. boss is broken but the clones can be stunned by grab and if you get boss with your burst getting out boss combos you can combo of it. Scythe is way too fast and like there is a move you can parry and scythe is still safe idk if it was updated but i dont have it. wonderboy countered by a move that most characters have which is Jump but he still good when pressuring when they dont have any jumps left.

ngl i wish i could've seen yalls ranking of Librarian by Inkless Brush, that character is NASTY when you figure out the mechanics of it.

One thing I'd like to add about gojo, his infinity instinct(universal dodge with the only weakness being grab moves) and his infinity kick (wich beats default grab) along his limitless dash(wich is basically a teleport/dodge that is instant) gives him a monstrous defense system(wich I've almost never seen anyone actually take advantage of smh) add to that a solid neutral/range game and good combo options(and a near perfect ultimate) and I think people just don't use him enough lol

boss is s for all the wrong reasons the clones are good but just constantly predict clones and u can clap them if u have good air (clones will fling themselves lightyears) what makes him strong is his shock stance only 4-5 moves, but they all autotrack so if ur in a combo ur cooked

If he covered the V1 from ULTRAKILL mod, it might be an instant S tier. His moveset has so much variety that allow absolute insane combos.

As a wizard main, we don’t accept the middle spammers. Use it for area denial and catching combos, or not at all.

Conventional wisdom dictates that no matter how ludicrous or powerful any given modded character is, the vanilla characters can still beat them. They are what the game is built and balanced around, and they have the tools to get the job done. Never sleep on Ninja, Cowboy, Wizard, Robot, and now Mutant. Pay them the respect they are due. It's their game, after all.

Since this was made before the recent update wizard would have been the strongest vanilla character with robot just behind, ninja would be stronger than cowboy and weaker than robot. You are glazing todo tbh, not as strong vanilla cast, only real setup is rock + clap which is good approach but like, not a real threat. You could also force rps but that’s just relying on a shitload of gambling. Nakmuay doesn’t need explanation, one setup option and not much to compensate, easy D tier. Those my biggest criticisms of your tier list other than get “where’s Booneweilder” “where’s nobody” and more recently “where’s foreigner”

I think fell(aka gold fallen) is the strongest character, if you don't belive you can try it

Double down is amazing, why? He has FREE free cancels, if you hit the coin while your getting hit/combod, you can instantly attack. So I say he's B Tier at least
