i feel like this song is about being jealous of someone so blissfully ignorant... but in the end they really aren’t ignorant, they just have their own, healthier ways of coping with things. so that’s why at the end yon realises they’re not so different, but they still want to learn :]

The sad reality is that sunfish have 0 defence mechanisms. They don't have scales and instead have a smooth mucus like surface, which means they are prone to multiple parasites and are heavily targeted by orcas.

I'm generally a silent person on the internet, and I rarely leave a comment on anything, no matter how strong the feeling I have for them. But when I heard and fell in love with this song, I knew I had to write this. This song is hands down one of the most serene and heartfelt songs I've heard melody-wise. It's almost like I'm in a dream whenever I fully immerse myself in it. The instruments blend so well with each other, and it leaves me in awe. As an aspiring music artist, I admire the work you've done here very much. I'm currently in the middle of a bad creative block right now, thanks to numerous things that drained the life out of me. Whenever I doubt that I have the ability that I'll never be able to create something as great as this, the melodies somehow "speak" to my heart and give me the sense that I shouldn't give up and that I'll get back the motivation I've lost one day. You have done something great, and I can't stop myself from being astounded by it! As for the lyrics, I can feel it well; a life away from problems and stress is something probably everyone dreams of. Unfortunately, this world we live in isn't going to make that wish come true, and the level of stress isn't the same for each individual, and that's just the harsh truth. Wishing to relate to a sunfish just because it almost always seems like it does its thing without caring about anything at all is honestly very understandable. But yeah, just because that's what we often see doesn't always mean that's the actual case until we look closer. It's better to think about how someone is managing their problems well enough, or at least about their general optimism over their problems, and take those as inspirations to get yourself moving forward through life with positivity in mind than thinking you have a miserable life. Oh and, your vocals are outstanding, and the backing vocals are just magical! I'm just stunned and honestly speechless by them. The visuals are also cute!

The vibe is so refreshing! I wonder what the lyrics actually mean. I like to think that Mr. Sunfish represents their childhood self because of how carefree it is, while the singer has currently “lost courage.” But since the singer knows that their childhood (Mr. Sunfish) will flourish, so will their present self! But idk. That’s just my interpretation. The song just came out recently, so I might have missed something :P

I want to thank you Yonk for this song. I remember hearing this for the first time in a very dark part of my life, when everything felt completely hopeless, when depression ruled my entire life, and the song felt like someone who saw others happy and the realizations that it's a them thing that I'll never understand. Since then I've been able to work on myself hard and I can hear the second side of the song now, the uplifting part where you can see the path to your own happiness and find that for yourself. I feel happy again for the first time in over a decade and... this song hits different from this side of the road. Remember everyone, there's always an end to suffering, and it doesn't need to be abrupt or violent. You CAN heal, and you CAN feel happy again

No i think its because Seabird (the little cat with the bird onesie) wont be really around because after they learn about the sunfish they will move on, and seabirds help sunfishes take off the parasites off them, they will probably end up jumping out and back out of the water which will cause death or injuries to them Oh wait it is a dark meaning

I found this song on a rhythm game I like simply because I saw the fish on the cover and said, "ho ho! A funky little guy, of course I'll play your level :)" I instantly feel in love. It's so wholesome, and it tickles my brain in all the right ways

Sunfish fun facts: sunfish are often seen as seemingly incompetent and dopey evolutionary anomalies that often baffle researchers as to how the heck they're able to function at all. But the ocean sunfish's evolutionary specialty is as an outstanding diver and climber. YonKaGor has such a lovely singing voice, it's always pleasing to hear his music. The lyrics are always intriguing(as i never understand meanings behind any lyrics) i wonder what the reasons behind them are. There is always beautiful art in these videos, with a character just as adorable. This person is someone i wish i could introduce more people to. all in all, i just really like the songs which has a nice tune to them and easy to listen to whitout getting of track from what i'm reading. Those points is something that YonKaGor's music has.
