Here is what I see from the cover. Solji expressed ‘Please’ as a heartbreaking song. It was like, “Please, do you know that my heart hurt?” Kim Beumsoo sang like he’s angry. ‘Please’ from his cover looks like, “You left me. I hate myself for feeling like this but I am still waiting for you.” Yoo Minsu and Shin Yongjae’s version of ‘Please’ is like longing. It was like, “Please come back. I beg you. I need you. Just come back to me.” All these covers were so amazing and I will change to which mood I want to hear; heartbreak, angsts or longing. The original which is Lee Sora is a story. ‘Please’ in her version becomes, “Here is a story of you and me. No matter how much you interpret, I will sing it in my voice.” Thus, for me Lee Sora version is something I will hear when I feel like the sky is crashing down.

I might be in the minority, but I couldn't finish listening to Kim Beumsoo cover. Somehow, his singing doesn't do it for me. I loved the duo Yoon Minsu & Shin Yongjae version. Thank you for mentioning Lee Sora as I went to listen to her. There was another version of her and few other singers and the way she ends the song by singing "please" blows me away. Korea, the land of many treasures and outstanding talents.
