All gameplay and music from games I played growing up make me sad and happy at the same Time but more sad because we will never get those times or feeling back ever again. And to think as kids we all wanted to grow up so bad but it was a scam. You'll never have the "innocence" and "worry free" mind of being a kid while playing n64 and eating a bowl of your favorite cereal ever again...

I remember when I played this all the time. I use to rent this quite a bit, then my older sister played and it was one of the few games she could play. Sadly, she passed back in December. I came by to hear this again, not since the late 90's. RIP Heather.

This particular song really hits me somewhere deep. I’m a starving student floundering though life with stress and uncertainty at every turn. When I hear this I feel like I’m 7 years old being dropped off at my grandmother’s house to spend the day with her. No obligations, no worries, innocence and childlike tranquility. I miss those times. I miss her. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

I always had it in my head since I was a child playing this they were singing "Oh, what's the weather?" But now grown up and understanding its just the yoshi cry, makes me happy i hear "Oh, what's the weather?" cause it still puts a smile on my face.....even tho nobody will ever hear that other than child me and i just have to remember that forever now.

Yoshi is Japanese for adopted child. In Yoshi story all the other Yoshi's are killed by a meteor, and he goes on the meet Mario. Damn, this game was intentionally sad. Even when I was 8 playing this it made me melancholy

Is this verified? While it seems similar to 養子, the pronunciation is different (youshi vs yosshii) and the Japanese wikipedia page for Yoshi says that it's both a parody of the lochness monster (Nessie ネッシー) and it was a nickname of a Nintendo staff member.

This song actually draws small tears from me, because it is excessively innocent. Because it's so blissful compared to the actual world we live in, it makes me feel a strong, bitter-sweet melancholy.

Man, this takes me back to my childhood. Had special memories with this particular game because it was the first Nintendo game that I completed. The thrill and joy I had when I beat that little bastard Baby Bowser was something that money couldn't buy! 😂

How I make my ringtones download mp3 converter (it has like a pink or purple circle and is says mp3) and also download garage band and screen record your favorite part of a song and then put the video in mp3 converter then convert it then choose ringtone and then choose garage band then click on the file then it is there then save it (if it is straight away perfect for you or when you like it) then it says saving then hold the file then click share then choose ringtone and then next got to settings and click the ringtone you made in garage band (my ringtone is my life is a party)

I used to play this game alot as a kid, my Dad ever since would occasionally whistle this theme song out of the blue. It seemed to stick with him for some reason after all these years. He passed back in November at just 54 years old. I miss him so much.
