I use my (new to me) Sony M-455 dictaphone in lower playback speed in order to combine ambient sound and "regular" synthesizers to make a soundscape. This setup is inspired heavily by Hainbach, and Amulets, here are the links to their KZfaq accounts for awesome videos in a similar vein.

I am just started into my journey into ambient, and would love to bring to it an approach that echoes the jazz tradition of improvisation, soloistic properties, and complex harmonic texture, as well as exploring the tonal possibilities of tape, and other analog texture creators.
