Been watching this man for over 28 years, I’ve shed a tear today. With the end of Soccer AM and having to say goodbye to Jeff, it really does feel like the end of an incredible era. Wishing Jeff nothing but the best in the future, such a great man 🫶🏻

As a Pools fan Jeff it was always so heart warming to see you flying the flag for a small working class town in the northeast. A true supporter and an incredible broadcaster who will be sorely missed. And credit to Sky for allowing you to show your support for Pools on air. Hope to see you at the Vic a lot more now you've got a bit more time on your hands!

The worst part about getting older is everyone else getting older as well. I started watching Jeff as a 5 year old kid with my grandmother, and football took hold of me and never let go. Thank you for the memories Jeff. You will be very missed.

My best memories off Soccer Saturday has always been Mers, Tiss, Thomo, Charlie and Kammy with Jeff, just the absolute dream team for me, just so many great memories through the years and amazing bants. Really going to miss Jeff. All the best to the lad, always be a legend and a gentleman.

Listen to the last 10 seconds with earphones in. You can hear the producer counting him down from 10 to 0 for the time left on the piece. Jeff hits the mark perfectly, without rushing, without missing anything. Naturally. How many times must he have done this countdown over the years and nailed every one. Always professional and always entertaining.

Watching the VTs and seeing Mullers, Frank etc looking so old. Fck I feel old 😢. During the late 90s to the 2010s if I could make Millwall this was the next best substitute with my old man. Memories with my old man that cannot be replaced thanks Jeff Special mention to Kammy all the best with your fight Thanks for your speech about Lewisham council a few years back 💙

Jeff you are a true great entertainer, with your rants and true honesty, who ever takes your place at the head of the table having to keep Paul Merson, Clinton Morrison, Kris Boyd and Michael Dawson in line will have their work cut out. Jeff was not just a great pundit but he was soccer saturday and dread to think what idiot will replace him. Unlike most pundits on commercial tv jeff had respect and knowledge of lower league teams. Hes sure given the national league some plug. Enjoy your retirement
