Jesus did not limit belonging to blood. His vision of family extended far beyond biological barriers- he considered his disciples to be his brothers. And he calls you and I to be his brothers and sisters today. Maybe you don’t feel like you belong at work, or at school, or even in your biological family. Those are some hard feelings to deal with daily. But Jesus gives the remedy for our broken belonging: He invites us to be part of his family!
