Mike Graham's demeanour belies the simple fact he was not prepared to conduct an interview at all & was only there to disparage. In his haste to belittle he tripped over the very minefield he had sown himself, the arrogance of which is quite astonishing, really embarrassing to watch on multiple levels.

Unfortunately, he is not able to grow an intellect. I visited this concrete farm the other day and it was covered in trees, which had been specially planted, for timber. They said these trees were just a fill in product until the concrete had grown. They said they were going diversify into other building materials. They had planted 40 hectares of rolled steel joists and another field was dedicated to the production of wheelbarrows. They also had interim plantings of Douglas spruce while the other crops were getting established.

@@eddiegittens3073 Fun fact: Since sand is a mixture of different kinds of rocks, certain types of sands might not be very sturdy. A good example was how during construction of Burj Khalifa, the sand for the concrete mixture was imported from Australia despite being in the middle of a desert. In order to have a good quality cement you require a good mixture between multiple ingredients like lime, sillica and more. edit: Just in order to be much more clear, modern industry requires to be very precise in many measurements and as such it's really not about mixing just some basic materials and praying that it works out. Slight unwanted adjustments may multiple times ruin the final product, especially when we take in architecture and engineering in mind involving accurate stress calculations that the building can sustain and resistance to difficult weather.

Holy shit he just says something so unbelievably stupid on air and then hangs up the call and tries to paint the carpenter as the threat to the environment. Absolutely beyond parody.

He had a look like, this is too tragic to laugh at, but it’s not worth debating either. And yet the reporter almost looks like he thinks he’s won the argument.

What’s funny is he’s reading it off paper made from trees in a building framed with timber and then goes home to a timber framed house that he bought with money made from trees and reads a 300 page book made of 12 different trees -__-

I like how he tries to knock him down like "he cuts down trees and makes stuff from it " like that's not a useful career whereas his career is telling people about stuff that happened to other people and possibly skewing the information toward the favour of whoever's offering the biggest sponsor(bribe)

My absolute favourite thing about this, is that even though he's still doubling down to this day he knows, deep down, he's talking bollocks and that he's too deep now for his ego to go 'you know what, I jumped the gun there, I tried to be combative to reward my right leaning friends echo chamber, and instead I look like I skipped school'

The right doesn't care about facts and their demagogues certainly know that they're liars. They're manipulators that rely on exploiting emotions like pride and hatred to further their own political aims (or paychecks). It doesn't matter if Piers Morgan says something blatantly and hilariously false, because once the idea is placed into his follower's heads, they're going to start believing it because they want to confirm their own beliefs. For instance, in the US, the right banks on some 'indoctrination of children' combined with some variation of the phrase 'LGBT agenda' as a vague rallying cry against actual educational institutions, despite there being no evidence of this whatsoever.

Ok, if a plant was to produce concrete which would do it? I’m thinking something like seaweed, it’s always wet, so it doesn’t harden. Makes sense.
