One of the best women's matches I've ever watched. I can't believe Serme beat Weleily, Gohar, and Sherbini in the same tournament (top 3 in the world) and can't remember the last time that happened. Hope she can maintain this form.

On top of the sheer mental strength to come back from 7-3, 9-5, 10-7, five match balls (the difference in her expression immediately before and after winning match point is amazing!) - so impressed by Serme's length. Again and again she kept Gohar from hitting winners by making sure her ball reached the back. I'd be a vastly better player if I could play the exact way I play but achieve that kind of consistent length! Respect.

Great to see Serme winning out--a fantastic professional. The only player left who can disrupt Egyptian dominance.

Gohars' split at the end was just wow👏👏 and she gets up like it was nothing... Her and Serme are soo equal physically...

Well, usually i'm a Serme fan but i must admit that on the physical dimension, Miss Gohar is very impressive, all time, all match, a real beast.

At 12 all the commentators made the most important observation, gohar has a one dimensional hard hitting game and when the ball is set up for a winner, invariably it will be a hard whack as gohar is not confident enough with her short soft winners yet.

I'm rooting for Camille but let's face it, Gohar should have won this match a hundred times in my opinion.

Have to disagree. Gohar is too one sided in her game and Camille reads her super hard shots very well. Don't think Gohar will ever reach nr 1, if she keeps playing so "simple" squash. No woman hits the ball as hard as Gohar. Camille then again already showed her variety against el Welily. As a sidenote, this probably was one of the best matches ever played between two women. Enjoyed this more than any matches between men in this tournament. Kudos to both Gohar and Serme.

@@peterhammer6915 I agree that we may already have the match of the year. It was a pure pleasure to watch. I still think Gohar showed some nervousness, for instance she blew away the 4th game, making a direct fault on her serve at 10-10. Still, huge congrats to Camille for her whole tournament, after a bitter upset against Hania El Hammamy at the Pyramids.

this game was full of unforced errors. only one of the best matches ever if you are biased towards Serme.

Suryansh Somani She s allowed to serve from the side she wants to, as Camille served (and lost) the previous point. And she obviously prefers to serve on Camille's backhand.

@@suryanshsomani7916 in your first serve after handout, you can choose the corner freely. Most choose to serve from the right as the right handed opponents have to return backhand. If the server wins the ball, he / she has to serve the next ball from the left and so on.
