Mantis shrimp is a staple food here in my country. They are caught in the hundreds and even thousands, and sold in the local market. They get really big here. Some nearly a foot long.

@seansingh4421 - I've heard it is. All shellfish can be tough though if it is over cooked.

@seansingh4421 Peacock mantis shrimp meat is pretty low quality, so im guessing he's talking about different, meatier mantis shrimps.

I have a mantis shrimp in a glass rimless and he hasn't even done anything close to it he is a good boy he is a baby tho he won't smash anything cause the people who shipped him clipped his hammers. He just molted for the second time so hopefully he got them back and ready to smash everything in sight! He has his new lagoon. And he has a few friends and a lot of invert pets to eat when he wants

Hey just wondering if could I put peacockmantisshrimp in a low boy 28 gallon from zoo med because zoo med told me cat fish can be in there tank and cat fish need 75 gallons and up but they can be in the low boy because they only need the bottom so so I just was wondering if you think the tank should be good

Not sure if you've heard by now, but in case you haven't, Dom disappeared one day and is presumed dead. He and Kaiju never attacked each other while he was alive, so we all assume Kaiju ate him after he either got sick or died of old age.
