Another fun and fabulous quick little painting from Nicola Blakemore.
Enjoy painting this relaxed little water colour painting, in a very wet and loose style. Use only white, sap green, paynes grey, raw umber and a terracotta colours.
No need to draw first, just get you paper, paints and a couple of paint brushes and get started straight away.

I agree with Sliwa. It is fun to watch and try to copy Nicola. Sometimes I stop it to catch up or to get the color a better mix. She is delightfully relaxed in her teaching.

Nicola, I am also a novice at beginning watercolors. Your videos are being watched multiple times by me. You are my VIP of choice! My thought is this. My mother started painting at 65 yrs, so why don't I start at the age of 75!

I love how you teach and explain everything as you go without talking about topics that have nothing to do with your lesson. I just discovered your "you can paint" videos. LUV them! I am an ultra beginner painter. I think the videos will help a lot. As I watch, I always wonder what happens when your hand with the brush leaves the screen. Would love to see your palette as you paint sometimes to see how often the brush goes in water, paint, etc. Thanks so much for doing these videos.

At leat 300 gm, as heavy as you can afford, then you can use more water.
