Watching paint dry--so cute

This one was a bit tricky I think but when I looked at the result a day after it turned out quite nice actually. I love it when you say "don't worry about the details, it's an impression" and this helps me alot. You're amazing, I feel you're talking to me personally. I've learned so much from your video's.

HI Nicola. This painting is so beautiful. Lilacs appear to be such a complex subject to paint, but you've simplified them nicely. I can't wait until spring arrives here in Canada (even though the calendar says it is--it's NOT!! but should be any day now). I will head out and cut them from the yard and put them in the house for the beauty and fragrance. And hopefully paint them too. I found you on SkillShare.com and am following you there. Hi! I like the way you play/paint this LILAC, or Syringa vulgaris!!! I have a tree of this at my ex's garden, and each bloom I bring a flower, but "failed" to paint them! Next year, I will finally try to paint them your way!!! TFS

I really admired the way you got the 3D 'chumpiness' of the lilac down. Thanks for the great tuition. I was surprised you use opera pink- isn't it a fugitive colour? I'd be sorry to see your painting fade or brown off!

I know it is the craze now to splatter but I think it spoils the lovely paintings.

Greetings from Oregon, USA. When you mixed the Opera and Ultramarine did you add some white to your mix? You didn’t say so but the color looked a bit opaque and pastel on your brush. Thanks for the lovely tutorials and your explanations. Much appreciated.

Love your paintings but have a really hard time hearing you and have my vol on pc and here on 100% still can't hear most of what you say. :(
