2 жыл бұрын

You'll know when to repot your Monstera with experience. If you're new to the Monstera Deliciosa, then the best way to know if its time to repot this plant is to take it out of the soil and actually observe the roots. Once the roots are thick and are taking up most of the space in your plant it's a good time to repot.
Very rarely will your plant be root bound enough to stunt growth or harm your plant. There really isn't a rush to repot. Good light, consistent watering, and gentle fertilizing will always win the day.

I love the helpful info you are giving in your videos. You actually know what you’re talking about, in contrast with most “tiktok plant experts”. I also mostly leave the roots on my plants alone, but not when they come in compacted nursery soil wich stays too wet. Those i bare root and put in a mix that suits the plant, so you don’t have 2 different soil mixes in a pot wich creates different moisture retention rates in those specific soil mixtures.

This is a really important point. There are a lot of "but what if..." when it comes to untangling roots and this is a big one. Thanks for the input!

If you think you can get it in/out without damaging the roots go for it. You could also take it out of the pot, put the pole in, and put it back in the same sized pot. You may need to loosen the roots to create space.

Do you have a degree in anything plant related, or have you worked in a plant shop? And if not, that's totally okay but do you at least have sources to provide?
