I am doing the skunk method and just cut my hair to the bottom of my neck and will go back for trims until the grey has reached the bottom of my neck then let it grow. I am 3 most in now and cannot wait for it to come all in.

I went totally grey a few years ago. I really didn't fancy growing it out but Instead of paying a fortune for my hairdresser to do it 'properly' I bit the bullet and did it myself. I couldn't quite shake the feeling that I was making a terribe, irreversible mistake- of my hair coming out permanently variety- so literally quaked in my slippers the whole day! Firstly I applied colour-stripper to remove the salon dye. This resulted in what looked like a bad bleach job but was soon remedied by step two-applying a professional Wella toner i'd bought online Step three was actually dying my hair grey using a Scwarzkopf Live dye! It came out darker but so much better than I expected. Dying it grey allowed my own grey roots to blend almost invisibly. The biggest compliments I've had have been from my hairdressers who thought I'd had it done professionally. Maybe another method to add to your list?!?

You look great with your hair grey. I am a small woman in my 60’s and I still dye it at home for safety. Unfortunately women get preyed on in the city and looking younger makes me less vulnerable

I’m only 45, so I don’t feel too guilty waiting a little bit longer. But I damn I wish I had the skin tone for my (now) white natural hair! Thick waist length white hair…. F-it. When this gloss washes out, I’m gonna go for it.

I LOVE my grey hair......I had cataracts early in life and decided not to dye (semi permament anyway)prior to my surgery 'just in case' something went wrong...evedently it went wrong & shortly after I had to have retina surgery & I just didn't want an accidental happening of getting dye in my eye...Then the pandemic came & I noticed a lot of women "gave up the ship" coloring hair because they just couldn't get to a hairdresser. I say us Boomer/"Flower Children" look our best naturally grey..We rock it!!!...I wear eyeglasses & settled on RayBan wayfaier frames with progressive lens/photogray..........Classic since the 50's always in style

I wore lots of different colour wigs (had a wig wardrobe) for near 2 years whilst I was growing out my hair. It was the only way I could continue to model at the time. It was a phenomenal amount of work to style the wigs everyday and have them look as natural as possible but it was fun experimenting with different colours and styles.

Im starting that now 3 mon in she gon add lil color to top but i should be dye n color free in 3 years because i want to get a perm.

I am in week 9 of the 🦨😂 method. It's weird but I don't really care. I wear it different ways and I can tell people want to ask....but don't.😅 They grey is starting to ease in rather than looking like razor stubble.❤
