i am 62 now,. have lymphoma and for some reason my curly hair changed a lot, and i was still coloring it medium brown. come lockdown, i got my husband to shave my head - because why not? he shaves it every month with a six for hair clippers and i just love it. i've learned to tame it with gel, and fortunately i have a good shaped head, high cheekbones and olive skin. it's fun and different. you suit it and i absolutely understand what you mean by looking younger with grey hair - completely agree!! subscribed🥰 also.... that music !

When I hear how much people in NYC are paying for rent I am amazed. How do they afford rents of thousands of dollars a month? I am so lucky that I own my own house in Ireland, my property insurance and taxes total for the year are around $2000.

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate between “safe areas” and expected “crime areas”. Unfortunately it’s a growing problem affecting all areas. A lot of these ill persons are from middle class persons who have fallen into homelessness due to lack of resources and services
@thisNYCgirlАй бұрын
I’m thinking I ought to have said that I haven’t experienced this kind of violence in LA in general but I don’t know many areas in LA. I just hadn’t heard of this in So Pas. I agree mental illness doesn’t discriminate and it’s a very intense problem that society just doesn’t prioritize or know how to meet. Some of my family members suffer from mental illness and so this is a topic VERY close to home for me.

I have been in NYC for 36 yrs and remember when you could rent an apartment with just a pay stub. There was no "income 40x the rent" because rents (at least in the outer boroughs) were affordable for people who weren't CEOs. We answered ads in the Voice- and later on Craigslist- or just visited the neighborhood real estate offices. The first time I was ever charged a broker's fee was 2018. Now there ARE NO affordable apartments- they have mostly been replaced with the over-priced micro-apartments you showed, in fancy buildings with lots of amenities.
