Amazing solo performance for a song that's meant for three part harmony. I love Bernadette :)

THANK YOU. Ms Peters is magic. Hits the mark with every song, every time. Hope she is the same "magic" on stage ...night after night after night after night after night after night after night.... Sure she must be. Again, thank you.

This is so good. I normally dont like to see individuals singing a song that was written as a threesome, but BP is just so good, she gets away with it. Also it is good to actually hear the lyrics (not always possible when 3 are singing). "Turning off a person is the act of a man who likes to pull the hooks out of fish!" Classic! :)

I have seen her credited as the female vocalist who interprets Sondheim best. Allegedly rated so by Sondheim himself.

There's one thing about this performance that annoys me. She practically sings it straight. The song is in swing time, but she's singing it in straight time. It annoys the hell out of me. It could drive a person crazy.

Dorothy Loudon does the best tribute to this song ever, & she holds back on the @&£ word. Search for it & get two joys of Sondheim for one, would love to know what you think, (like you ain't heard it before) I think it is amazing.

I don't like her performance overall. She sings it too straight so much of the time that when she switches a gear it feels 'actorly' rather than sincere. It's also just not fun that she thinks she's above singing "Bobby is my hobby and I'm giving it up".
