I had a lot of fun in making this video, and and took more time to experiment more with my editing process, and am proud with how it came out. I look forward to hearing what you all think!
In this video, we explore the overwhelming and unrealistic nature of the pursuit of perfection. Everyone's path is unique, and what works for one person might not work for another. Instead, focus on progress, not perfection.

Im a huge perfectionist thats been burnt out for a while, and have been recently exploring the idea that I can define success at my own terms as you phrased it. Everything you say heavily resonates with me and is truly liberating. However, there is a problem Ive had for a while thats been causing distress in me that perhaps you can answer. Sometimes I wonder if the dreams I have are just delusions for the privaleged. I say this because so many people have dreams but cant achieve them due to their circumstances. They have to work hard in order to survive, forgetting their passions and just accepting the cold nature of reality. Immigrants from war torn countries, kids in gangs, addicts with horryfying pasts, the list goes on. So, can dreams only be realised by the small minority of those with privalge? I mean, not everyone achieves their dreams, so what makes you think you can? Then, in this case, dreams are cast aside and perfection is necessary to survive. Unless your just really lucky with life, perfection/money/whatever else is necessary to survive. This thought bothers me a lot and hopefully I can gain insight from you. I watched a couple of your videos and found them inspiring, so im looking forward to your answer to my dilemna. though u answered it slightly in the video, it still hasnt been fully adressed within. Thank you for your time and uve gained a sub :).

Privilege definitely helps out significantly, but I do believe circumstances do not define the person that you are. The only thing we can do is learn from them. Privilege certainly makes it a lot easier to get to our dreams since it solves many of the problems that we have. Without You said that “many people have dreams but can’t achieve them due to their circumstances. A more appropriate way to phrase that is “many people have dreams but can’t achieve them because they BECOME their circumstances”. Every circumstance we come across, we have the choice of how we want to look at it. A book that I recommend is ‘Man’s search for meaning’ by Victor Frankl.

@@progressful "without-" your thought may have been cut off because that sentence didnt finish. Thank you, I found this comment very helpful, and that correction has opened my eyes to the power of choice. I read a quick description of that book and it directly relates to the problem of holding on to inspiration despite difficult circumstances. I will definetely read it and I just wanna say big ups to you, every vid youve posted has been soo relevent to me. Like the intention vid I just saw is another problem im facing. If your ever considering it, I would definetely listen to long form content from you. I think a podcast or something similair would be super cool and id def be ur first viewer. anyways I always make comments way too long, thanks for reading this if u got to the end of it lol.

What if the thing I excel at(but don't like doing it) and the thing I like(but not goot at it) are different? Which one should I persue

What are your strong personality traits that make you excel at the thing you don’t like doing? For example, I’m good at math because I would say I’m very analytical but math wasn’t something I enjoyed. Then I think about other areas in my life that I do enjoy and see how I can add this trait of analytical skill into those areas.
