100% agree. This is toxic TRIBALISM shit. If you have the slightest opposed opinion about what Katt had said, then you're against black truth! I have watched Gary Owen's reaction and views about the interview, even HE had to correct some small things that Katt had stated. One of many things I can't process is the Ced The Entertainer hate..... Before the Club Shay Shay interview I never heard anyone from the industry that talked bad about Ced. And Dave Chappelle comments, Dave has been fighting the same fights that Katt has fighting, so who are we, the non performers, that don't have a dog in this fight to question these great artists of the craft. Let's be real while some of these individuals are picking sides, Dave and Katt may be behind having a real men conversation with a blunt and a glass of cognac.

I think for me, I don't try to lump in black businesses as well but I do notice things that ONLY black owned businesses in my area do that other minority owned businesses or majority owned (white) businesses don't do, which can make people feel like they are all the same. For example, I've only experienced mandatory 20% gratuity (regardless of party size) at black owned businesses in Dallas. Now if white businesses started doing the same, I wouldn't complain.

With the katt stuff, it sucks that nuance, subtlety, and grey areas are dead. You have to either be for or against something. You can agree with some of what katt said while also understanding that some of what was said may be exaggerated or straight up wrong. Life for the most part isnt cut, dry, black and white.

The fact you have to pay processing fees to send money from your account in the US is wild. You can send money online in the UK for free. There used to be a credit card fee to pay at some businesses but not any more

That was real black stuff in that church letter. I'm serious. We definitely try to keep close to the church throughout the years, but when the church thought they should have been in your business, that much. That letter sounded like it came from a friend you dealt with only a daily experience. Church is important, but my granny taught me that your personal experience will be more rewarding. Kicking Mr out don't even end my connection to my father they can have that one. I'm good. I guess that's telling you that coming to the show is the attraction. No, it's not.
