looked to me like dude was taking pride in the "monsters" and Maino just built off of that. And drill music isn't the issue fam.. The issue is state-sponsored sabotage over generations. Poverty, drugs, mass incarceration, shit school systems, lack of opportunity..
@Lakerbeatmaker
@Lakerbeatmaker 2 жыл бұрын
@@TizOnly1 The state doesn't tell/force you to kill anybody, steal, or self sabotage. I was raised dirt poor in a family of LA/Long Beach Crips. Each of us had the choice to do right or do wrong. The state don't live in your house, aparment, or neigh orhood. You are responsible for your choices.
@TizOnly1
@TizOnly1 2 жыл бұрын
@@Lakerbeatmaker blah, blah, blah It's not somehow a coincidence that certain behaviors tend to come from certain places. Drugs, crime and violence are a function of poverty, and the US has systematically funneled Black people into poverty since its inception. Bottom line. Great job for you not succumbing to the pitfalls, but the simple reality is that this country has sabotaged Black communities so that we have to overcome all these obstacles that decent governance dictates shouldn't exist. White kids in suburbia don't have to even think about overcoming the kind of shit that's been intentionally put into all of our lives for generations. That's a problem. Personal responsibility is a great thing to say to a PERSON. It is NOT an adequate response to SYSYEMIC issues.

Na Maino I gotta disagree with you on this one. Music plays a HUGE role in the destruction of many lives. The influence those artists have over a young teen mind is unfathomable. I tell this story often. My sister used to listen to Lil Wayne, I feel like dyin, over and over and over again. She passed away around 2014.

Maino is just tryna justify the dumb shit because he’s part of it. Pick a side man! These dudes love to play the middle to stay relevant. I hope our kids stop looking up to these goons and lolli pop gangstas. I don’t care if he’s thorough or whatever or how many years he was locked up. I was telling my guy that all these senseless killings been going on for ever long before my parents were born . might even been before my grandparents . The only difference is that the internet was real new when I was in the streets so the killings used to feel like it was just going on in your neighborhood . Today we have social media so shit get around a lot quicker on a global scale !! I told my father and uncle this and we started doing our own research since we lived in different places and man I wish I could say more but I don’t want my comment to get flagged . Do ya own research on this and you’ll see what I’m talking bout . Might shock ya !!!! Trust me early 2000 was my era I did my own research , my father was the late 70’s , the whole 80’s and 90’s . My cuz was on the early 90’s and 2000’s 3 different places abd when we trade stories and it’s wild . It was wilder back than if anything ! They had serial killers and all these stuff . If social media was around the whole time we will be saying we haven’t learned anymore . At the same time they took all our OG’s that were being father figures while our parents were locked up and left us to be the man of the house at 13 years old . What you think the effect was gonna be ? My father knows Maino and China Mac from jail ! My father hit every state jail in the state of New York . From 1970 to up to today still right now . My father been in and out of jail . He’s actually got 3 years left now . He did at least about 39 years off and on .

Music it’s self is motivational it puts you in the mood rather it’s a good feeling or bad feeling. Drill Music is a movement for Killing and murdering anyone in our communities we have a problem with. Back in the 90s we had Gangster Rap with killing in some of it not all but some. Different was we also had R&B to balance the street shit out this era doesn’t have that at all. To much killin rap and not enough making money rap. That’s another reason why they doing it. The Music is the ENGINE and these kids are the drivers heading straight towards the brick 🧱 wall.

Word up MaiNo 💯 !!! For you to go through wat u have in life and come out on the other side is very commendable B !!! The people that say us who have been up north or have done wild ishh in our lives deserve to be locked no matter wat our circumstances were,or say they where simply just never gonna change, obviously don't know wat it's like to be 8,9,or 10 years old wit absolutely nothing or no one to reach they hands out and try to help guide us in the right direction at such a young age...they definitely don't know wat it's like to be 10 years old with an 8 year old sister,and 7 year old brother that without no guidance or help were now depending on the 10 year old (me) to do wat we had to in order to eat,or have a spot to sleep at night,or have a couple different outfits so the other kids weren't making fun of us. And for those who have NEVER had to feel that feeling of hunger pains because you haven't eaten in days, you really have NO idea at all just how badly hunger pains hurts,,and then when we did get some food i always made sure that my brother and sister ate before I would touch any food. I had to go get money however I could at that age,and every day because now at 10 I wasn't just big brotha no more now I had to be they Motha and Fatha !!! Point being don't judge everybody or label everybody as this or that because we did wat we had to survive and to take care of our loved ones !!! PEACE ✌ ✌🏽 AND BLESSINGS 🙏🏽 🙌🙌🏽🙏 TO YOU AND YOURS MY BROTHA 💯 💪🏽💪💯 !!!

Well that is reflection of ones upbringing. If a parent r legal guardian can't take pride and responsibility to raising their child then society will have to contend with them harshly. Family and upbringing is the most important institution in life, if that's broken then a generation takes the fall.

@@dareason7581 the parents are the frist teachers. Once the kid leave the house it up to them to move on what they learned with a little bit of common sense. All of the risk should be taught, especially in the hood. Parents are thte kick starters.

The music is influencing kids to take the initiative to spin the blocks. It’s a soundtrack for criminal activity often times the Mayor has to do something though.
