1:26 Slight correction: Driger S is the first Beyblade we see Ray use in manga canon. His first battle with Tyson plays out much like the anime, only Tyson battles with Dragoon Grip Attacker in Round 1 before Kenny upgrades it to Dragoon Storm for Round 2. Daichi’s battle with Ray happens in Volume 6 of the manga, which by that point he would’ve upgraded to Driger F.

I thought it was weird but I figured the manga I was reading was mislabeled. Oh well😂

@@Eliotsampson Yeah, the way the manga chapters are labelled is a bit weird. For some reason, they re-label the first chapter of a volume as “Chapter 1” even when it’s not Volume 1, and the Daichi chapters are labelled as the “Special Section”. I’m guessing they weren’t part of the original serialization and were exclusive to the manga volumes?

@@Eliotsampson weird. I remember reading the physical manga by Viz from the library and they have Daichi's chapter available each volume starting from the V-Force series of the manga.

Would love to see Driger V or Dranzer V covered. I feel like those Beyblades are heavily overshadowed by their V2 and G counterparts, so nobody talks about them.

The dub in earlier episodes has some noticeable scripting error. Might have been another miss interruption, but I need to watch those episodes again. As for the Manga... I remember Ray's introduction being similar to the anime, course it be the anime be based on the manga chapter itself. Daichi was introduce into the manga around the time of V-Force, so pretty sure the continuity is still Driger S to Driger F.

Is it weird that I kinda want to see a "Where are they now?" For the main protagonists? I don't know why but I see Tyson and Hillary getting together after college and raising a family, With tyson passing down his Dragoon bey to his first born child, Lindsey. As for Max, Ray, Kai, and Daichi? I haven't quite figured that out yet. Maybe Ray and Mariah get together, Max takes up his dad's shop, Kai does his typical badass thing, and Daichi....saves a fellow student from a burning building, sacrificing himself and being remembered as a hero.

The manga ends with Tyson and Kai having kids who inherited their Beys. Also, there is a sequel to the manga called Beyblade Rising. Both Tyson and Kai got jobs.

Something I find really funny about the Blade Breakers, the team of Japan, is only 40% Japanese, Tyson's Japanese, Kenny's Japanese, Ray's Chinese, Max's American, Kai's Russian.

In the English Dub Ray didn't actually lose to tyson Tiger litteraly let Dragoon win and Ray was wondering why Tiger did that.But I don't kniw what was said in the sub.
