GS + h got the best cc breakers in the game, and that's what keeps you alive. Rush perk is SS tier

I'd suggest dropping crosscut for steadfast. Defensive tree on greatsword is fucking insane, extra dmg reduction and another stagger. Also helpful vs SnS players who like to hold block in your face, blue tree lets you block while charging heavies so you can block their stuns and hit their block with heavy autos. Most players won't let you hit all 3 hits of crosscut anyways, generally you'll hit 2 max (first two swings is fast and can be huge burst). Unless their stammd but at that point you can just heavy aa with serenity for probably equal damage and no CDs

You might want to look into Syncretic Hatchet. It has rogue, keenly jagged and you can put penetrating on it, also it's easy to farm.

Id suggest for GS/H berserkers axe with keen berserk is best option because ot allows you to overehelm 1vX

Try invigorated -- another super underrated perk. I tried 4 of these on armor, absolute make big difference. But for your light build, I can see how freedom makes a diff, whereas invig can be big help for med/heavy users

GS/hatchet is such an interesting build cuz in a noobs hands its nothing special.. and very squishy.. but when played well, by skilled pvpers, it becomes S tier again. And yeah, i like going 300 dex for the passive. (specially since u are going the freedom route) u only lose a lil damage on ur hatchet. But u kinda have high enuf damage anyways on this build. (also, the 350 str passive isnt really useful on this build, u shouldnt ever do the last la in chain) and if u upgrade ur hatchet (and GS) anyways, u will get more damage outta em, so basicaly wont lose much with 300dex version. I also totaly agree with the serenity not being the best GS for light assasins.. (yes there r medium assasins nowdays lol) the serenity is great for med and heavy builds, where u do more heavies, and the fortify actually does something etc. A GS with better damage perks, and even possibly a wep perk, would outperform the serentiy for u. in ur build maybe leeching Crosscut.. Cal counter skill and perk on the gs, can also be very good. (trade crosscut or skyward slash. i trade C.C) And yes, i also tot agree with u on freedom. its a perk that has lost alotta luv in recent seasons (except for bruisers, war etc) partly due t the fact that freedom doesnt effect certain CC skillz. But in general, for mobility builds like light GS/H, it is that constant movement and speed and stickyness that makes it so good. and very often when u die its cuz u get "bogged down". and specially the way u put it.. i consider freedom better as third perk then health, for light assasin, for sure. As long as u have the/a defensive perk and SH as well. (always try n stack. for example on ur build enchanted ward, SH and freedom, with 2 pieces of armor each exchanging one of those for wep perk) that wud be "bis" inmo. this build also is way better when running with a friend, huge burst damge when targeting. gud fun eh

300 dex is like a free freedom except for the 30s cd.
