With each passing generation less and less people know enough about what they’re eating, how it’s made and where it’s from. As we grow ever more distant from our ancestors, and their in-depth knowledge of horticulture, agriculture, and farming, many of us just order food and stick it in our mouths. But you might your mind about that when you learn a little bit more about what you’re putting into your body. These are 20 foods you’ll never buy again after knowing how they are made!

when TRIX came out, it was three-quarters sugar - the FDA said to take it back and reduce the sugar, so now it is only about 40% sugar - and an early selling point was "No Sugar Needed!" (as most people were adding sugar to their plain bowls of wheat or corn at the time, around 1950).

When my son was very young, 4yrs old, I gave him Nutella, again, like most, believed it was a healthy treat! My son soon complained that it was burning his mouth! I told him don't be SILLY there's no pepper in it! What is his talking about! I told him to just eat it!....this was the biggest regret and guilt I ever felt! My son was violently sick!! I cried and deeply apologized to him and, of course, threw it in the bin! I then changed it to Peanutbutter and jam/jelly sandwiches, NOPE! One again, my son complained of a burning sensation; only this time, his eyes became red and his mouth swelled up. I took him straight to the Doctors. It turned out BOTH were the cause of his reactions; my son was diagnosed with a NUT ALERGY! Especially, HAZELNUTS, which is what Nutella is made with.

Its much better to embrace changes which happen to your body which make it impossible for your body to tolerate such drinks. I resisted for months until I realized that there is no energy drink left in the stores for people to turn to. The ones remaining are no longer going to be available once demand drops. Supply and demand. When it comes to energy drinks that means no more demand. That is what will kill the energy drink.

That bug thing.. It is interesting that the bug is on prickly pear cactus. I ate a prickly pear for the first time recently or should I say I tried to until I found out that it has many seeds that are hard as little rocks, so much so that I couldn't even extract the juice from the fleshy part because the seeds made it nearly impossible to do so while it was in my mouth. One thing I did notice about them was the beautiful fuchsia red color. I concluded that the prickly pear was better to use as a dye rather than an edible (?) fruit. Now finding out the red dye carmine, which I heard about coming from a bug years ago, is from a bug attaching itself to the prickly pear plant.. well, while that makes sense, it makes more sense to me to use the prickly pear, but I guess I know why the insect is more effective as a dye: maybe because it is a bug that the dye is more potent and concentrated. Anyway, I'm going to post as I otherwise just wasted a lot of time.. 🤣

About pringles and exposing them... "How Dare You"... :) Jelly Beans "How Dare You"... :) Castorum "How Dare You"... :P Don't drink much soda, but have some coke on hand for bad stomach issues (phosphoric acid is da bomb).

@@chantellylace4174 Some people react well to "tough love," I think her intentions are honorable and she prob feels a little bad bc how would she have known about your condition? Sorry you have it really tough; you must be really strong to be able to handle something so hard.. I sincerely hope things get better as quickly as possible for you. Also, some people try to motivate in different ways so try to see it came from a place of caring.. God sees you and He loves you; maybe talk to Him if you haven't lately? Just strangers trying to help bc we've known hurt too and we truly are one big human family on this planet. ✌️💗

@@ghostladydarkling3250 I know about synthesised vanillin. When I was an analytical chemist many decades ago , the company I worked for used to buy it in bulk. I'm pretty sure that the naturally occuring vanillin produced by beavers is probably only used in really expensive perfumes.
