Very wise. I followed this plan closely by instinct alone and now at 73 I'm still doing well, thank God, but what I realize now is that the jar was always full, even when it appeared empty. Air my friend. Without breath we can never undertake a single task. So take a deep breath first...

First time I heard/saw this story demonstrated was by the minister of a church I attended years ago. I heard this illustration several years ago from a convention for Jehovah's Witnesses with two young boys actually demonstrating with the jar, the stones, sand and the water. I've seen a lot of the things that you post on their site which is accompanied by Bible verses. It's nice that is being related on a larger platform.

Heard this "Morale of The Story" many years ago when I realized I spent far too much time investing my energy on my acreage, painting planting trees and focusing on the investment that I lost track of friends. When my son purchased his first fixer upper I stressed to him that the people in his life was more important than that fresh coat of paint. The walls will be there when you get back....
