- Dance of the Tumbleweeds seems better than a Desert in a neutral situation. You can get an impactful creature for the late game (which I think is important for a 5-color removal and advantage deck). Do you need a Desert to make the Tumbleweed worthwhile? Also, if you pass many Tumbleweeds, could it inspire other players to splash a third color and thus pick up Deserts more highly? - Back for More seemed more imporatant than a Desert at 4:35. I mean, it's removal + card advantage + getting back a win-con. One reason to build your mana base first is be able to pick any bomb Rares you open, but you aren't guaranteed to find one, and wouldn't a well-timed Back for More on a something like a common Cactarantula be about as devastating as a low-tier bomb? - What do you think about Jem Lightfoote, Sky Explorer? It looks like a decent clock that allows you to draw multiple cards over most games if it survives. Even without a dedicated deck, you'd probably have turns where you want to hold back mana for a Gigapede/Mystic Snake/some Instant removal, as well as turns where you simply draw blanks and have nothing to cast. Does it tend to underperform?

This is just about every draft ive done in this format. keep a 3-4 lander and don't miss your first 9 land drops and die, get solo'd by a busted rare or 2 lander on the play and never see another land.

When i played Arabian Nights in 1993, it was exactly like this. If you play Magic, gotta accept that luck plays a huge role and you cannot achieve anything without luck.

@@bastianstieg819 I hit mythic the last 5 seasons no problem. This set is so bomb heavy it's not very forgiving. I thought I would like it since it's removal heavy but I'm also losing to removal piles that by time til they hit their bomb. I could have also pissed off a witch and have a shuffler hex on me.. who knows
