The dev did several vlogs on his channel as well, detailing the whole process of turning what was once a 2 day game for a contest, into a fleshed out experience. I hope more indie devs do this. It's honestly fascinating to see how developers come up with ideas and tackle problems with coding and gaming.

I'm really glad to see traditional survival horror making a comeback after years of stuff like Outlast, Amnesia, P.T., and FNAF dominating the indie horror scene. There's still a ton of games coming out like those, but stuff more in the vein of RE and SH seems to be on the upswing and I am extremely grateful. Shame streamer/youtuber bait still kind of dominates the market though.

Instantly bought this on release and beat it twice over night, absolutely love the concept I just want more content now

Love seeing Endoparasitic getting the attention it deserves. Wish I could say the same for wrought flesh (Sick game by the same dev).

My dude, the chat wasn't trollin' that hard, in the final boss fight, when you get those trails of cocoons, if you actually shot a flare into all of them you'd only break all of them at the same time, and you'd get like 20 monsters onto you at once. Not a great plan. Chat saved you on that one (also not that useful just to damage the corner flesh, since you can just shoot the shotgun at it, really no reason to use the flare in that room). In fact, boss is pretty easy, if you just speedrun it (just by looking at the tendril coming from the stalker to see what corner flesh to shoot next), you can make it out just using the shotgun. (the cocoon lines shoot predictibly after you, and give you a chance to dodge them by showing where they'll spawn, much like how the stalker appears, then dashes after a brief delay). Cool game nonetheless, awesome unique mechanics.

3:02-3:10 The ONE TIME Pyro saying "R.I.P" would have been at its most appropriate ever and funny on two levels, he squanders the opportunity. My day is ruined. Also, Pyro now truly understands the thrill of reloading that Revolver Ocelot was talking about.

An indie recommendation I’d give is FTL: Faster Than Light, it’s an awesome ship game made by a few guys, and I was surprised at how sweet their credits were with them thanking their friends and families.

if there's a sequel, having to use the flare to signal a rescue team for the good ending seems like a great idea not gonna lie.
