Just thinking about how people are always talking shit about Beck. But I think that is very much on purpose: she's not perfect, and even damaged, but Joe held her up as perfection and punished her when she revealed that she wasn't. He wanted her to be just broken enough so that she would need him and rely on him for support. To keep her in a non-physical cage.
@uravirginwhocantdrive14003 жыл бұрын
What people keep forgetting when it comes to Joe (besides the obvious he's a psychopath/sociopath) is that he puts these women (Candace, Beck, Love, and probably the neighbor in season 3) up on a sky high unrealistic pedestal that is nothing but a perfect fantasy. What do you think is going to happen when these women don't measure up to his fantasy.
