Champagne isn't like wine, it only gets better to a certain point and then it starts to degrade. Our bottle was the EXACT right age that it should have been wonderful. It was some of the worst champagne I've ever had in my life. Please get her 3 bottles at full price 😂😂😂

For most of this sketch, the character was more like an Egoist than a Narcissist, but then came the whole "not being taken advantage of" that finally convinced me this character was indeed a narcissist and therefore an anti-egoist.
@PlanetBabylon28 күн бұрын
Please elaborate (I'm curious)
@MeowZeOwOdong28 күн бұрын
@@PlanetBabylon thank you for your curiosity. An Egoist is a person who voluntarily becomes entirely unto oneself (where the opposite would be praising an idol or distrusting oneself eg religiosity or nihilistic philosophies, and moral systems) rejecting therefore dogmatism and power structures entirely to a degree even higher than an Anarchist, this idea can be first seen in The Unique and Its Property by Max Stirner and later elaborated by philosophers like Friedrich Nietzsche (albeit in different ways). A Narcissist on the other hand, is someone attempting to deny oneself entirely, that is why one may see narcissists appealing always to religiosity and "logic" and "nature" whenever they make justifications for their actions, as they value their own purpose (what the ME wants) so little, yet will always seek it out like everyone else does. While the Egoist knows oneself and therefore holds no internal contradictions and aims for the highest ideal of freedom with no compromises, the Narcissist is sick with dogmatism to justify their self-hatred (originated by abuse) and their self-restraint when no one restrains them (for example, a narcissist stopping everyone and possibly including themselves from eating something in their house, for no real reason, narcissists are arbitrary yet in denial of this). In the early parts of the video, the character seems to simply want specific things and owns it (egoist), but then later denies their own desire by such an abstract failure as "being taken advantage of" which is very usual of narcissists, and so the narcissist character takes shape.

We'll have the meal with our closest family, and friends who are like family, and then we all head home. It'll cost around £3,000 and that includes travel, our clothes, celebrant fee, food, drinks. For my cousin's pandemic wedding, she, her husband and a few witnesses climbed to the top of a mountain in Colorado. They got to exchange vows (and take pictures) in place so magically beautiful that no wedding planner could improve on it, without pressuring everyone to attend a destination wedding. Then when it was safe to have a real party, it was relatively low-key, as this wasn't really their wedding day. The point wasn't to celebrate themselves but to celebrate their family---including their newborn baby, whom many of us hadn't met yet. I think that's the platonic ideal for a wedding.
