Dr. Tara Palmontia (Dr. T at A shrink for men) says that therapy doesn't make the narcissist better, it just makes them better at it. I find this very true in that couples therapy was just a way for her to gain information to craft her ability to be a better abuser. Also, it seems that Cluster B's resist therapy simply because they see their inability to empathize as a strength. So why would they want to go seek help to make them vulnerable?

@@atheplummer very true. When someone is far down the spectrum of disorder, therapy isn’t helpful at all.

I know you aren't very dympathetic to the pwBPD like other channels are. Over there I often see pwBPD commenting that they are innocent because 'they feel it too'.

There's a lot of that on r/BPDlovesones 'they're just abandoned'. Which might be true and some come from abusive house hold but how can you actually know? pwBPD are known to be great liars. The means do not justify the ends. Which is where TRP's tool of 'mental point of origin' comes in. No one, except well for narc's and bpd's, is without empathy. Especially men wants to save women, we WANT to take care of them. If you are stuck in the savior schema you have a target on your back for people who need a supply.
