The best show at balancing comedy and horror. It wouldn’t take much to turn this into a genuinely disturbing drama. The fact they made it so funny is astonishing. The second series more so as it did away with the more sketch oriented first series. Third series lost me but was inventive. Friends tell me I need to see again to appreciate it.

I didn't even notice it wasn't Gatiss before that cut. It's weird how men playing women kinda tweaks your brain into letting weird things slide once you're used to that. That whole mechanic was used to perfection along with the makeup and costume to just throw you into a mindset to suspend disbelief.
