only thing i noticed is that you signed Korean players which don't meet the criteria, they just have double-barrelled first names and the order of last name and first name in Korean is opposite (e.g. Heung-min is Son's first name but you write it Son Heung-min)

That double-barrelled surname team is amazing. Great work to that guy finding a player called "Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduru" with the double-barrelled first name AND surname.

@@Glorifies It actually wasn't that difficult, I just filtered using "name must contain '-'" and made sure that everyone I was searching had it in their last name rather than first name

For anyone curious about the registration in the Fulhamerica save - the club and nationality were specifically picked to make it possible. Luca de la Torre was a Fulham youth player so I can manage to get at least 1 homegrown club player in there, and then there a lot of dual-nationals who count as homegrown in the country. (Yunus Musah at Arsenal, Antonee Robinson at Everton (I think?), Cameron Carter-Vickers from Spurs, etc.). And then the rest of the registration loopholes were youth players I signed young enough to get them HGC status

The Hampton and Richmond save is the hardest save I’ve ever done by a mile. Reputation makes it impossible to sign the top FM players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Ward-Prowse. Definitely had to abuse some tall fast and strong players like Malachi Fagan-Walcott, 6'7" injured newgen striker Kristian Lee-Maclean, and the Montserrat international with all physicals and no technicals. Maybe we should turn it into a challenge save to see if anyone can win the prem from that point forward 😅

How did you search for players to sign? Did you actually enter a hyphen in the search field?

@@Stryth In the advanced search filters, there's a "name must contain" section and I would put a hyphen, yeah. Then I'd also sift through national teams and higher league u23s and whatnot. It doesn't take very long because most teams you glance and at skip over completely, and if you find a double-barreled player you shortlist them immediately

The Slow Slough Save: you can only sign players with acceleration and pace of 8 or lower. At Slough Town FC of course. You must get rid of any academy players with acceleration or pace above 8.

I did one back in FM20 during the dreaded C-word lockdown as Dulwich Hamlet where, after the first season, I could only play Academy players. So I played my first season, no signings, no loans, then when that season was over I sold/released all of my Senior players, and only played Academy players from that season onwards. By a country mile it was the hardest challenge I’ve set myself as you have no control over the quality of players you get, the positions they play in etc. so it was just a constant wait until March HOPING that I get 2 or 3 players who were better than what I already had. I think it took about 15 or so seasons to reach the Premier League in the end, any money I had I was investing in Junior Coaching, Youth Recruitment, Youth Facilities, Youth Coaches and so on to try to give myself the best possible chance of recruiting good players. Then trying my best to hold onto them, making sure any time they dropped to 2 years left in their contract I extended it as long as I possibly could, usually to 4 years at a minimum, made sure there were no Minimum Fee or Non-Promotion release clauses etc. I think if I hadn’t chosen a London based club it might have been a little easier as I was obviously competing for youth players with a lot of other clubs, but it was great fun having to constantly adapt my tactics to fit the best youth players into my first team squad

Ive done something very similar to your Hertha Brasil save, I did it with Rennes but only signing Germans, wish I submitted my save now as it was probably my favourite save this year 😅

I did a double barrel name save both in FM17 and FM18 with Weston-Super-Mare (fitting name) and Hereford respectively, both stopping in my first season in the Prem (was impossible to compete and get good enough players, also I refuse to use overperforming tactics). Was a lot more difficult back then it is now because the spawn rate for hyphenated players was lower and the only nations that had hyphenated regens of good enough level coming through were primarily England, France, South Korea and Norway, with the odd few from Netherlands/USA/Ukraine. The last few years theres been an increased spawn rate of double-barrelled names all over and nations in middle east have started producing better newgens, so the player pool is of a higher level now. If you want to do a LLM double barrelled save, I believe doing it in a country that's got easier work permits/squad rules than England would be a lot easier.

I did a save where players needed to have an edible item in their name, such as Declan Rice or Jude Bellingham, i was hoping for a regen baller with a name like danny sausage but tbh it was mostly names ending in ham or containing cod or egg so it got dull around season 4. I did enjoy bringing in some of the finds, such as a decent regen called something like Isgra Pendo (dont remember his actual name but it had grape in the middle, which was a fun find).

The Neil Warnock save also needs to play a 4-3-3 counter attack which is what Warnock plays. I’m a Cardiff fan so I seen it often lol

Not sure if its weirder but on FM23 I did embark on a 25 team royal rumble save taking control of at least 2 teams in France, Spain, Netherlands, Italy and Germany plus the remainder from the Prem/Championship (ended up with 14 Prem teams) in S2. Each sort of had an ethos in terms of squad building and I used the instant result button plus a lot of delegation to even make it possible. I looked but don't have the file anymore because I have changed my computer but may have to do something similar in FM25 if time permits

Can't share it as I've lost it, but I did the inverse of the 1 nation for a club save, and instead had no English players (not as their first nationality at least) at Fulham, and just one Scot. Wasn't even intentional initially, till I had 80% of the squad already non-English

I had a whole scenario in my head back in the FM 14: When the world crisis struck the US, the country needed to rebuild itself and regain the population. But, it needed to 1) be diverse in the spirit of the US 2) attract the strongest, the fastest and the smartest, for them to settle (genesteal, lol). So, i reduced the amount of years needed to gain a citizenship to one year, and had a rule in my head: every transfer window, i needed to sign at least three non-US players, and keep tgeir amount high. If you are curious, in my headcanon, when the player recieved a green card, he went through lottery to determine where he and his close ones will be living in the US. Of course it was rigged due to assimilation purposes

My strangest board requirement is in my current save where they require me to be world leading in youth development.... I already have 8 players in top 50 youngsters and I have +50 wonderkids.... getting hard to get loans for them all and I am not really in the mood to sign even more. One of the first times I actually used the editor just to remove that request.

I've been chipping away at a save I started in FM23 where I'm trying to bring New Zealand up to win a World Cup or something. I started with an edited database to give NZ a bit of a boost & have a chance at actually producing some world class players, but the international side of FM is pretty lacking. I left Wellington Phoenix & brought Cardiff up to being Prem & Champions League winners in the process, which was fun. I moved on to Real Madrid, where I'm trying to bring in a bunch of NZ players to the youth team (they just don't develop playing in NZ local leagues). The toughest thing is patience, the game moves pretty slowly when you're playing 3 games a week at a big club.

ps. my next challenge will be fun, I will only sign Swedish players and the goal is to get this country that only can preform on ice and snow to win the world cup..... think it will be a long one if even possible. I am however contemplating on where and what team I should do this with... obvious choice would be England but I have done sooooo many Vanarama to PL/CL glory saves that it's getting kind of boring with the UK. Might do Netherlands or Germany.

The only problem with these saves is that the majority keep saving and returning to the games to win, which is complicated.
