Hard agree with all your points. It's a very solid patch, and a step in the right direction. Some buffs don't seem strong enough to compete with weapon/strategem staples, but hopefully AH is listening and will continue dishing out the buffs so we get some ACTUAL variety in options.

I did like the 110mm before the recent patch, and the changes have made it even more consistently useful! Strafing run and the Gatling barrage are both really good too.

Side tip for the secondary shotgun: setting it to all barrels will one shot spewers. Pretty useful if you’re like me and find yourself getting overran by them often

The whole patch and the warbond have been so fun, my favorite is easily the sawed off shotgun secondary, its SO different from all other pistol stuff that its just straight up fun to use carbine is also really fun tbh, high firerate is always nice, pair it with recoil armor and you get a laser beam pretty much

Poison gas for the win on bug breach, get upwards of 40 kills and what ever is left is usually the chargers and maybe bile spewers… and just throw a concussion grenade to stun them in the gas. Even had a couple direct hit chargers and damage their carapace.

the spear isn't exactly fixed sometimes it doesn't lock on to units like hulks, but when it works its snappy. yeah they are going to need to double the Purifiers damage so its no longer false advertising to be able to one shot scout striders. or they can revert the scout strider explosive resistance buff it received.

I'd love to use these but have no room due to certain design decisions (gunship patrols, charger behemoths etc) making the meta more necessary than ever.

So about that. I've actually been playing around with dedicated roles on our squads. Have two bring in heavy clear, one with a mix, and one person dedicated to clearing out the chaff. It's been working with for us to have specific loadouts as roles.

I’ve been a big advocate for the spear for the last couple months. Even when the targeting was ‘challenging’, you could still master it and kill pretty consistently. Now with this new targeting computer from SEAF, I’m worried it’ll become more meta and receive a nerf to either the armour pen or the damage. Fingers crossed it doesn’t, I feel invincible with it now!!

I would hope they don't nerf it seeing as how its already limited just by the ammo capacity. It honestly feels great to use now and has a good impact on battlefield when used proper.

Honestly looking them over I would say the steeled veterans. From my perspective it has the most useful guns all around and one of the best guns for bugs being the incendiary breaker. You then also get access to the Senator and the Dominator which I take as solid picks against bots.
